Fuel smell on the rear passenger side coming from the fuel filter tank area. Fuel tank is located at the bottom the rear seats. The fuel fumes are very strong we are afraid the car might catch fire. The fumes smell like fresh fuel. The fuel fumes are very strong especially after using the car after a 3 mile round trip grocery errands. *tr

The outside rear of the car smelled like gas. After looking under the car we noticed a puddle of gas collecting after stopping the vehicle. The dealer told us the driver side fuel pump has a crack leaking fuel. This is a serious problem and has to be addressed before somene dies. It is a hazard to my family and the public as a whole. Apparently vw has done a recall for this for later model…
