Car started smelling of gas. Then garage smelled of gas. Then the fuel economy became inaccurate. Then gas started dripping from under car. Then gas started streaming under car. Then told gm dealer and was told there would be no remedy until gm recalls take effect. Now, 8 months later no repair offered. Car is unsafe and leaves me stranded regularly as it pours gas out of car. I will take car back to dealer and expect immediate repair. *tr

The key cannot disengage the engine. The key will not turn to the off position. I troubleshoot the issue by trying to disengage both in park and neutral. The issue raises a safety concern in the car becomes out of control there is no way to kill the engine other than disconnecting from the cars battery. Please investigate this issue due to the fact it may cause panic and unhealthy conditions being that the car may be left on in enclosed places where the driver does not know how to kill the engine in this situation. Also, upon calling the dealership to report the problem, they claimed to have knowledge of the issue and went on to say that they have had many problems with this component of the ignition switch on the same car (Pontiac g5 and Chevy cobalt). *tr

Had it not been for the median and the concrete pillar between the parking space and the dollar tree store front, the gm Pontiac g5 would have plowed through the dollar tree store front full of christmas shoppers o

Vehicle had faulty terminal connection causing a loss in power steering and problems with display/odometer/tachometer. This was repaired. Vehicle manual transmission grinds when putting into 3rd gear, even with fully disengaged clutch. The problem occurs with colder temperatures, but once the engine is warm, 3rd gear does not grind. Potentially an issue with synchronization. *tr

I was presented with the unsafe condition of being unable to turn the key in my ignition to shut off the vehicle. I attempted turning the key to the off position and it would not move. I repeatedly shifted the car from park to drive and turned the steering wheel in an attempt to loosen the key. My attempts also included enlisting the help of my wife to make sure I was trying to shut the car off correctly. After 30 minutes of idling in the driveway, I pulled the fuel pump relay to starve the vehicle of fuel and it shut off with the key still stuck in the run position. I then disconnected the battery to shut off the lights. I had a spare set of keys so I locked the car doors in my driveway with the keys still in the ignition. The following morning, I called my employer an

For the last couple months the check air bag light comes on and won't go off. I took to dealership and they said that they have no recall information on it. Not sure where to go after that. Also I had a recall for transmission and they said its not the recall. My transmission went out. So that cost a lot of money out of my pocket. Just wondering where to go from here?
