My vehicle has code p0722 for the output speed sensor. The problem description matches safety recall 16s19 but my VIN does not show up for this recall. It appears the recall needs to be expanded.

The contact owns a 2012 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the transmission downshifted to first gear causing the vehicle to abruptly decelerate. After restarting the vehicle, the failure was corrected. The contact stated that the failure progressed, and the transmission would no longer shift gear as needed. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V075000 (Power Train). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. I have a 2012 F-150 that has a recall under 16N02, it has happened more and more frequently where the transmission will die and go into a sort of "limp mode" and will not shift out of first gear. Will show a wrench and engine codes on the instrument cluster. I have now taken it into my local ford dealership where they said they cannot find any codes nor will they fix the said recall unless the transmission actually fails. I talked to a service tech and manager and they both told me that there was nothing they can do and of course my warranty and recall warranty ends December 31st. They told me at first on the phone that they wouldn't cover it anyways for the simple fact that they couldn't get me in till February and my warranty would be over by that point. I made a big enough fuss and they
I have had multiple times where my truck transmission randomly and unexpectedly either drops out of gear or downshifts while moving. The speedometer also drops to zero while I am still moving. At least once this has happened after I pulled onto a street with plenty of time, but because I lost power, it nearly caused an accident. All incidents have been on city streets so far at low speeds. I have researched and found that Ford has a recall out for this exact issue (16s19) with build date parameters of february 11, 2011 to september 8, 2012 at the dearborn plant. My truck was built in august of 2012, within the parameters, at the dearborn plant, however, I am being told I am not included in this recall, even though I am having the exact issue it should be fixing. How my truck is not includ

Tl* the contact owns a 2012 Ford f-150. While driving 65 MPH, the vehicle lost power and the engine warning light illuminated. I have a 2012 Ford f150 ecoboost, when accelerating in rainy conditions the vehicle loses power and begins to vibrate. The problem doesn't correct itself until the engine is shut off and restarted. This is approximately the 10th time this has occurred since the beginning of this year. I have brought the vehicle in for repairs on four separate occasions and had both tsb's performed the only fix my vehicle has not received is the new catalytic converter. The most recent time occurred since the newest tsb was performed. *tr
This is the 2nd (and 3rd, 4th, 5th) instance of a problem I originally described in odi 10659481. Again, after traveling on the interstate for a few hours in very light rain, the engine failed to accelerate normally while merging into traffic from an on-ramp. This created a very hazardous situation, with traffic bearing down on us from behind at approximately 75 MPH and steady traffic also in the left lanes. Unlike the earlier occurrence on oct 28, the truck did not shake violently and the check-engine light (CEL) did not flash. However, the truck was noticeably vibrating and very slow to accelerate to highway speed. Because Ford had declined to make repairs after the first incident due to odb codes reportedly not being present, I had purchased my own odb-ii scan tool. Indeed, no cod

I started my 2012 f-150 and activated the front and rear defrosters. While idling in a driveway, I heard a loud pop, looked around and realized my passenger side rear windshield panel had shattered spider web style. Luckily I turned off the defroster in time and was able to duct tape the broken window. Unfortunately, tiny splinters of glass were already on my rear passenger seat, and I got some in my hands from taping it up. Thank god nobody was sitting in that seat. Temperature was low 40s, I was trying to get rid of a slight frost.
Upon hard accelaration the engine will begin to shudder, vibrate, and misfire. Usually happens when it is raining. *js
Right rear slider window exploded and shattered. Defroster may have been on. Vehicle running about 5 to ten minutes. This has been a issue with f 150's since 2010. Also the water pump went out with 29003 miles. Now the truck has about 30100 miles accumulated. Driving slowly on a country paved road. Fords customer assistance refused to repair as the vehicle is out of warranty even though this is a on going factory fault. My sons f150 had the same issue.

My f150 started to drop in to 1st gear unexpectedly when driving at at speeds greater than 50mph. At first the check engine light did not come on and mechanic could not find a source now I am getting engine codes p0720 and p0722. When I tried to investigate I found that this has been recalled on some 2012 Ford f150 but not mine. This is a serious safety issue and has cause unexpectedly down shifts on national interstates. I urge you to please investigate this thoroughly.
I turned on the rear defrost and my passenger side of the rear window shattered. There was a loud noise when it happened. I was driving when this happened. The dealer and other Ford personnel have admitted this is a widespread problem - but no recall.

I turned on the rear window defrost on my truck, switch light blinked several times, and then stayed on, a few minutes later a loud explosion from the rear of vehicle happened, sounded like a gun went off inside cab! Rear ,right side glass panel was shattered. Thank god no other vehicle was in the lane next to me! I swerved out of reaction thinking someone had shot a gun at me. I was traveling at 55 MPH on two lane highway, nighttime, and outside temp was 31 degrees. *js

Immediately following an oil change, my truck began making insanely loud grinding noises. I attempted to drive from knoxville to chattanooga and barely made it to cleveland. My truck stalled, started back up and I coasted into a parking lot. It would not go over 50. I then found a massive puddle of oil underneath where I parked. The truck was taken to jiffy lube.

I have a 2012 Ford f150 xlt crewcab. Was driving and as I approached my turn, I slowed down and heard a loud noise that sounded like you were driving on the highway rumblestrip. I pulled off and my truck felt like it dropped down in the back so I thought I had a flat tire. When I inspected it, the tire was gone on the rear of the truck and all I saw was the brakes and lug nuts that looked sheared off. The tire was laying over a little ways on a grassy hill. There was no shimming to the truck prior to the tire flying off. The truck was driving smoothly like always. Didn't know if anyone else has had this problem. The last time the tires have had anything done to them were 2 months ago. It seems to me that it might be a lug nut issue that Ford may need to investigate. Luckily I was not going
