Cylinder 2 began to misfire at highway speeds. Diagnosed with a burnt exhaust valve in the engine. Possibly also due to the high oil consumption of greater than 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles.
Engine malfunctioned with 126,292 miles on it after always servicing it at dealer. Diagnosis was "broken valve". This was after communicating with dealer regarding excessive oil consumption and "drive system malfunction". Dealer repaired spark plugs.
Water pump failure. A very well known issue with this particular part and the same exact vehicle as mine, also with lots of other Audi models.

I was driving last night and the "marker light is defective" error came on. This is a well documented defect in the Audi Q7 and many are subject to recall for this issue.
Dash light is on saying “Front right marker light is defective”. However, the marker light appears to be fine. This seems to be a software issue.
There is an issue with this vehicle that seems to have been addressed by Audi recall campaign 97CB (NHTSA campaign ID 16V642000), however it does not apply to all affected vehicles. I bought the car used in 2020 with approx 35k miles on it. At about 55k miles, I began getting a warning on the dash that says “front (left/right) side marker light defective. see owners manual.” It began with the left light only. I had the car inspected at an independent repair shop and there were no issues with the light. They thought maybe there was a wiring or sensor issue and suggested I check with Audi for any open recalls. I called the Audi dealer and explained the issue, they said there were no recalls and suggested replacing the headlight assembly for about $4k. I refused, and dealt with the war
2017 Audi Q7 , issue is Left marker light not working according to the dash computer, called Audi , inspected and they said it works but is dimmer than the other side, so needs replaced. $6000.... not doing that, called Audi customer service and they would do a good will for less but still $4000.. I chose to just put up with it since it works and the dash light stays on all the time. Then months go by and now the Right marker light not working, same thing. works but the computer says it doesnt. This is a issue with Audi and needs to be a recall. The warning light states left light out, then flashes and says the right light is out. BOTH lights work, but computer says it doesnt.. the dash light and the dinging noise needs to be a recall.

I was driving down a well paved road obeying the speed limit of 35MPH when a loud bang startled me. There was nothing in the road, and I checked my rear view mirror to confirm and there was nothing in the road. The car started handling a little differently. I brought it to the dealership and they told me both rear springs had broken. The vehicle only had about 70K miles on it. It could have severely affected the car's driving and could have put driver, passenger or other cars in jeopardy. There were no warnings at all.
Rear coil spring broken- both sides water pump leaking at 70k miles
Rear passenger side coil spring broke with no reason during normal driving at about 80,000 mi. Audi said it is aware of issues with coil springs, but since there is no recall, I would have to pay $1997.04. I think it is unacceptable and there is manufacturing defect and they should correct it for free

"Front left side market light defective" - When the vehicle turns on and the lights activate the side marker lights do not illuminate. There was a recall for this model and year but doesn't include my VIN#. This is happening to MANY 2017 Q7 models. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

2017 Audi Q7 3.0 QTRO--While traveling to FL, the Pre Sense Warning Light indicating failure began flickering on and off. Within several weeks, it was on constantly. Subsequently, a "whooping" sound became constant in the pillar behind the driver side door. Upon returning to OH, I reported this to my dealer. I was told the Driver side seat belt tensioner has malfunctioned. Dealer states this is also the cause of the Pre Sense frontal safety system failure. Vehicle now out of Warranty. Quoted repair for this safety issue is $1200. I learned this is a commonly known problem, and believe it should be associated with the NHTSA Recall ID: 16V955000. My vehicle is not listed on any Audi recalls at this point. The dealer initially texted the repair quote, but the link expired, and th

Two large windshield chipping in less than 3500 miles. Very bizarre considering the cost of the car. I own another vehicle, similar size (vw touareg 2012). It was hit many times and there are barely any marks left on the windshield. Is acoustic windshield (which my car is equipped with) less resistant to cracks and breaks?

Goodyear eagle sport run-flat tires on a new 2017 Audi q7 are completely bald on the front outsides and have chunks coming off of them by 16,000 miles. It was actually a problem earlier, but my current mileage is 16,000 so I'm using that number. It's a known issue according to Audi, but Audi of north america only passes the buck and says the dealership should deal with it. The dealership was the one that told me to contact Audi of north america.
brakes 1 complaint shown
I purchased this vehicle brand new with only 8 miles. Ever since I took posession of the vehicle, the brakes have been making noise when applying the brakes, going forward or reverse no matter how fast or slow I go. Have been taking the vehicle to the dealer few times already for the same issue and all they are telling me is that Audi is aware of the issue and they will contact me as soon as they have a solution for it. Dealer refuses to replace the brake pads or the rotors. Its been a year since this issue nothing has been done.
