Is there a fix? Manufacturer service bulletins
The manufacturer has issued service bulletins covering wheels on this vehicle — documented
repair instructions, service campaigns, or warranty extensions sent to dealers. A TSB isn't a recall
(it's not a free safety remedy), but it's the manufacturer acknowledging the issue and how to fix it.
Left Front Brake Hose Weepage This bulletin involves inspecting the left front brake hose and Wheel Speed Sensor (WSS) wire harness, replace if needed. Customers may notice a low brake fluid and/or Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) warning indicator(s) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set:C0031-1D - Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor - Circuit Current Out Of Range. C0031-2F - Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Erratic. C0031-62 - Left Front Wheel Speed Sensor - Signal Compare Failure. C0049-7B - Brake Fluid - Low Fluid Level.
Hub & Bearing Assy - Front For issues with front wheel Hub/Bearings appearing to leak grease, do not replace the parts. Please call Paul Kuehl for further assistance, at cell (248) 535-7013. If no response in 15minutes, proceed with repair, but do not replace bearing(s) unless there is visible damage, see Service Manual Diagnostic Procedure which includes a picture of typical bearing grease weepage.
