Fix: Dealers will update the central software, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed June 17, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D126 and H575.

A concern has been identified where the 48V Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) battery enters an offline state and no longer communicates or functions as intended. This can result in illumination of the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL), loss of start/stop functionality and no communication during diagnostic sessions. A software update to the Battery Energy Control Module (BECM) is required.
A concern has been identified where the 48V Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) battery enters an offline state and no longer communicates or functions as intended
Due to time required to complete in shop vehicle set up and workflow for Audio loss, it has been found that workflow may provide false result if IMC is not in a faulted state when workflow is run to identify potential Polar Switch Firmware fault.

Hit a car that pulled out in front of me at about 20mph and the airbags did not deploy and the sos button did not activate. Then I pushed it manually and it failed to make a call until 20 mins later after the police arrived. Vehicle was in motion in the city when looking at some other range rovers at the collision center it seemed like the airbags were not as sensitive as they should be.
