The vehicle has ongoing electrical and battery system problems that cause safety and driver-assistance systems to malfunction or shut off unexpectedly. The vehicle has repeatedly been found dead after short periods of non-use, requiring jump starts and battery replacement. These electrical issues appear to affect multiple vehicle systems simultaneously. While driving, advanced safety features such as lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and proximity-based warning systems shut off, become unavailable, or behave inconsistently without warning. In some cases, warning messages appear and then clear on their own, while the affected safety systems remain disabled. At other times, the systems deactivate without any clear alert. The manufacturer and dealer have ack

The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who connected the computer, but there were no codes retrieved, and was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired
Multiple battery drainage issues resulting in car not starting and battery going to zero volt. Car running hot. Failed thermostat causing engine overheat and car to shut down. System breaking issues.
This issue happened 3 times in a matter of 2 months. All 3 happened in 3 different intersections. While turning left in the intersection (oncoming traffic also turning left) the vehicle jerks to a full stop in the middle of the intersection with a "Crash Detected" message flashing on the dashboard screen. The vehicle stayed in DRIVE and continued to drive after full stop the first 2 incidents. On the 3rd incident, the vehicle stopped completely, and would not continue to drive. The vehicle had to be put into park (even though it said it was in drive but did not drive) and put into drive again to continue moving. Other vehicles driving behind the Grand Wagoneer were required to slam on brakes to prevent impact of the Grand Wagoneer and had to wait for the Grand Wagoneer to begin drivin
I recently purchased the vehicle in May 2025. It was a dealer car from original purchase. One month after purchasing [June 2025] the vehicle the car would not start. I called in roadside assistance to jump start the car. I took the car to a Jeep dealership for servicing. They recommended replacing both batteries. They mentioned one of the batteries were not an original. This must mean the dealer who owned and sold me the vehicle was aware of the battery issue. In late July, little over one month the vehicle would not start. I call for roadside assistance again. I dropped vehicle with dealership. I called two days later, and they could not discover the problem. They suggested I leave the vehicle for up to three weeks. This would give them sufficient time to attempt to discover the cause of
The vehicle warning indicator lights Electric Power Steering (EPS) fault light comes on and the vehicle becomes hard to steer while driving. The Stop/Start active light, Engine check/ malfunction light, service power steering light comes on and the vehicle shuts down when idling at a traffic light, the engine is automatically placed into park and has to be restarted by the driver. The vehicle is back in the shop for the third time for the same issues.
Both battery continue to drain. The dealer has replace the batteries five times. My car has been at the dealer repeatedly. Most recent incident the vehicle has been with the dealer since April 10, 2026. As of today June 1, 2026 it still remains at the dealer. They have not been able to tell the cause of the drain. It also my understanding there us another grand wagoneer at the dealer with the same issue.
Car engine completely shuts down at highway speeds sudden loss of throttle/power at highway speed * RPM surging or erratic behavior * dashboard/light flickering * vehicle entering limp mode or shutting down * no-start condition afterward * then the vehicle “magically” works again later * dealership unable to reproduce it * sometimes no stored codes
This issue has happened three times. I am on the highway going 70mph, the RPMs fluctuate, the headlights go out and then I lose propulsion/unable to maintain or increase speed. This is a safety concern as it has happened 3 times on the highway with no warning and limited time to pull over to safety. The dealership is unable to replicate the problem or diagnose an issue.
The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 MPH, the vehicle unintendedly shut off. The vehicle failed to immediately restart. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle operated normally for a short while before erroneously shutting off a second time. The contact stated that during the failure, another vehicle almost crashed into the rear of the vehicle, and the vehicle failed to immediately restart. Additionally, while operating the vehicle, the instrument cluster malfunctioned and started pixelating, making the screen unreadable. During the failure, the contact was unable to view the safety information, and the lane departure feature was inoperable. The vehicle was later towed to the local dealer. The cause of the failures was not y

Our car overheated because of a faulty thermostat leaving us on the side of the road stranded with kids in the car. We had to have the car towed.
n early January 2025, we purchased 2024 Jeep Wagoneer L that began displaying check engine warnings and experiencing significant performance issues within the first week. The vehicle was brought into the dealership (Golling Jeep in Bloomfield Hills, MI) on multiple occasions—first on January 22nd and again on February 7, 2025—for drivetrain-related concerns, including rough idling, and warning lights. The vehicle was returned after temporary fixes, but the issues quickly recurred. On February 21, 2025, the vehicle was returned to the dealership and has remained there ever since. Despite repeated diagnostic and repair attempts over the last five months, the dealership has been unable to resolve the issue. As of July 2, 2025, their latest communication indicates that a complete engine replac
The thermostat failed causing the vehicle to go into a reduced power mode while climbing a hill with a trailer. The dealer has a technical service bulletin for this issue but the overheating can call engine damage or an accident when the vehicle has reduced power. There were no warnings on the cluster until the car was already in a protection mode and power had been reduced. The cluster coolant temperature gauge is slow to respond and not accurate.

The second-row passenger side seat release button is non-functional. Third-row passengers cannot exit without this button — it is inoperable, and they cannot reach the manual lever due to insufficient space. Third-row passengers are physically trapped and cannot self-evacuate without outside assistance. In an emergency — collision, fire, or submersion — third-row passengers would have no ability to escape. This defect was first reported December 2, 2024, documented as unable to duplicate, and the vehicle returned without repair. Reported again January 14, 2026. Vehicle has been continuously at an authorized Jeep dealership since January 20, 2026 — 133+ consecutive days unresolved — due to repeated manufacturer parts delays with no confirmed resolution date. Additionally, a recurring key fo

Transmission and fuel injector malfunction: Vehicle shutters upon acceleration. Particularly noticeable driving up hill or when maintaining speeds. Vehicle is available for inspection upon request. Jeep acknowledges the issue, noted a malfunction with PICO data and a fuel injector repair was done under warranty. Stellantis deems the shuttering "acceptable." Safety is at risk as there is a hesitation and inconsistency in the transmission while driving. Yes the problem has been reproduced by 2 dealers, a Stellantis Starcase was opened and Stellantis has a SOL published for service centers but is refusing to release the fine print of the SOL to the consumer. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer despite 3 open cases requesting that a Stellantis Master Technician review the is
Vehicle was driven for 5 minutes before alerting that it was overheating. While attempting to pull into a safe location off of a main road, the vehicle would not allow me to accelerate. This left our family stranded in the turn lane. I was unable to restart the engine or shift into drive.

The vehicle in question, has been to a certified jeep dealer twice, to remedy the problem of locking axles and the center differential. The remedy by Crown CDJR in Columbus OH, was to replace the control module. Performance CDJR of Gorgesville /Columbus OH had removed the center differential/transfer case for an inspection and performed updates. None of the aforementioned warranty work, fixed the problem. The vehicle has intermittent, apparent drivetrain differential locking issues, that require an ignition cycle. In addition, the electronic limited slip rear axle appears to lock near 75% in Auto and Snow Mode, which renders the vehicle's operation unsafe. This is especially apparent in 25 to 45 MPH turns, sharp turns, as when merging from one intersection to a perpendicular other roa

Incident: Frontal collision with a boulder at 30 MPH. 1. Component/System failure & Inspection Availability The primary failure was the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS); the driver’s frontal airbag failed to deploy during a high-energy frontal impact. Additionally, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)—specifically Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW)—failed to provide alerts or initiate emergency braking prior to impact. 2. Safety Risk The failure created a life-threatening risk. Striking a boulder at 30 MPH caused substantial structural damage, requiring total replacement of the front-right and rear-right suspension assemblies. Despite the severity of the impact, the airbag remained dormant. The lack of FCW/LDW intervention meant zero mitigation was pr
