I was driving on my way into work on highway 169 Northbound going 65 mph in the left lane with nobody in the front of me, and nobody to the right of me, and head a loud popping noise, turns out that my windshield cracked. It started as a 6"-8" crack, and then it grew across the entire windshield over a couple of days. The crack is on the inside of the car, not on the outside, which means that it does not have an impact point on it. A crack to suddenly appear with a loud pop is a stress fracture. To have a windshield spontaneously crack while driving is extremely concerning. I brought the car into Burnsville Toyota Service Center, who denied warranty work when the car never moved from the spot, as confirmed with my Toyota App as it updates when the car was last moved. I argued with them by

The component that has malfunctioned is the hybrid inverter assembly, a loose internal bolt within the hybrid propulsion system. This vehicle is currently held at Fred Haas Toyota Country (Houston, TX) and is available for inspection upon request. My safety and the safety of the public are at risk because, as stated by the recall notice given on December 16 2025, this defect involves a bolt in the hybrid powertrain that "can become loose and could lead to a loss of motive power or could lead to a fire when the vehicle is on." The safety risk was confirmed by Fred Haas Toyota on March 6, 2026 and while there is no formal "Stop Drive" order, the dealership agreed to ground the vehicle and lend me a rental. As of today, March 28, 2026 there is still no remedy despite Toyota saying they "estim

UNKNOWN. There’s been chatter going around with the L and LE trim line of the Corolla Cross having bad lighting at night. I’ve been told by multiple people to “turn on my lights” meaning my tail end of the car has only two small red LED lights and license plate lights. the 3rd break light only comes on to break then off. there are no other lights in the back. In the rain a few weeks ago I saw other cars pull far back from myself due to they could barely see me on the road.

The tail lights on the Toyota Corolla Cross LE 2026 are not as bright as one would think they should be. I've been informed of this by a few passerbys and other drivers. The tail lights on the Cross are very dim and there only two. Very hard to see on a late night. Been told by other Cross drivers of this issue as well, and believe Toyota should make them tighter for the evening hours.

I own a 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross XLE with very low mileage. The windshield cracked unexpectedly and Toyota replaced the windshield under manufacturer warranty on February 9, 2026. Shortly after the replacement, the windshield cracked again. The vehicle currently has only a few thousand miles (3315 mileage) I am concerned there may be a defect involving the windshield, vehicle structure, frame stress, or windshield installation. The issue has now happened more than once on a nearly new vehicle. The repeated windshield cracking creates a safety concern because it affects visibility and could compromise driver safety while operating the vehicle. Toyota has escalated my case internally for further review. The windshield and repair history are available for inspection upon request.

Main Claim **Subject: Vehicle Malfunction Incident Report / Claim** I am writing to report a serious and unexpected issue with my vehicle that occurred on Sunday, March 29, 2026. I purchased this car in mid-December 2025, and it is still relatively new. For context, the vehicle’s brake hold function was turned on, and everything appeared to be operating normally before the incident. On the day of the incident, I was parking at a café and had my foot firmly on the brake while the vehicle was in Drive. As I was preparing to shift the gear into Park (without having actually moved the gear yet), the vehicle suddenly behaved as if it had shifted into Reverse, despite the gear still being in Drive. The rearview camera activated, and the car began rolling backward. This occurred while I was still
