The front cradle is so badly rusted it broke in three different places.. I was driving home when I made a left turn and noticed the steering was real tight and did not release back.. I traveled further down the road and noticed it was swaying and hard to keep straight.. When I made it home I used a flashlight because it was dark out and seen where it had snapped. Three different spots.. I'm mad because this was known issue and I was not notified by the dealership or Chrysler that there was a defect prone to that make and model. No average person checks the undercarriage of a car when the body looks so good. *tr

Friend of mine had an issue with pacifica where motor just fell off while she was driving. I took my car to the shop and found something I did not had idea what was happening with my car, undercarriage corrosion too. *js the bottom is just paper thin, everything is rotten. I have 115,000 miles on my car, 2005 pacifica. I cannot believe that car looks fine from outside but engine cradle was rusting out to the point you could almost put hand in the hole. It rusted to the point that the engine could fall out. I cannot believe there was no recalls on this car. They will start dealing with issues when drivers start killing themselves on the highway because they lost an engine at 70mph.

The frame has rusted through. The engine cradle is rusted. Chrysler admits there is a problem but refuses to do anything about it. Chrysler had a recall for this issue and then cancelled the recall. There was also a lawsuit filed, that was dismissed due to Chrysler's bankruptcy.

When I initially purchased my vehicle, 2005 Chrysler pacifica, from Genesis auto sales located at 1005 springdale rd in austin, tx. 78721 there was noise by the front left tire. After bringing this to the companies attention they agreed to fix it. The kept the vehicle about a week. The day I picked it up my father looked it over and found duct tape on the part, cv joint. I took the vehicle back and also mentioned the horn also went out. The company agreed to fix this again as well as perform my inspection as the sticker had expired. The car was kept another 2 weeks. When the vehicle was picked up for a second time the car began overheating. At this time my father and mechanic looked it over and found a busted hose, but they noted that the cv joint was duct taped again this time covered in

I have previously reported a problem with the 2005 Chrysler pacifica stalling when turning. The problem has progressively worsened. This month alone, (december 2011) the car has stalled 5 times. I am afraid to drive the car for fear that I will crash when it stalls. There are so many Chrysler pacifica owners that are reporting the same problem. Along with the stalling issue, the gas pedal sticks and needs to be pushed rather hard. A third problem I have encountered this year is the headlamps "burning out". I have replaced the front left headlamp three this year. I am familiar with the handling instructions for headlamps. I am greatly distressed by these problems, especially the stalling. I have children that I drive around in this car. Please do something about Chrysler's failure t

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 Chrysler pacifica. The contact was driving approximately 50- 65 MPH when the vehicle suddenly stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to be restarted after several minutes and was taken to both the dealer and an independent mechanic. The mechanic later performed a tune-up and cleaned the fuel injectors but to no avail. The failure soon recurred. The manufacturer was contacted and they advised the contact that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 06v432000 (power train:automatic transmission:control module (TCM, PCM). Rick hendrick Jeep/Chrysler, north charleston, sc did not perform the necessary job duties to remedy the safety recall of the fuel pump on my 2005 Chrysler pacifica. The dealer had my vehicle for 4 days, but the recall was not properly corrected which caused major danger to myself and my family! I first began to smell gas on tuesday evening after I filled my gas tank and continued to smell excessive gas on wednesday so I called the service department. I was told to bring my vehicle back to be checked out, but they claimed nothing was found! So I returned home on their word. The very next day, thursday, I proceeded to fill my gas tank again to take a road trip out of state that evening, but as my tank was filling so was the ground of the gas station...I was very upset at this point!!!!

I have had my vehicle since 2008. I took it in for a oil change and was told that the subframe/engine cradle was rotted and unsafe. I live in oh. And was told by Chrysler, since my vehicle was originally sold in az. That it is not covered to have the engine cradle replaced. The vehicle is a 2005 and have been in a "salt state" for 5 years. I located a letter online that was sent out and it doesn't state where the vehicle was purchase would be covered, but place of operation. To me 5 years of oh winters and salt has been the place of operation. After searching out the problem concerning the engine cradle, I have found that it has been a big problem. *tr

It is my understanding there is a recall for certain vins. My vehicle was built on aug 20, 2004. After contacting Chrysler they say the car is covered under a extended warranty. My problem is if I hadn't looked under the car this issue may have LED to a catastrophic failure. *tr

I was making a 800 mile trip in my 2005 Chrysler pacifica and noticed that the throttle was starting to stick when my cruise control was disengaged. The only way to fix it was to stomp on the gas pedal. I pulled over to see if there was something stuck around the pedal or even the throttle cable but couldn't find anything. The throttle only stuck when the tac was at around 2700 to 3000 rpms. When I made it to my destination I got on the internet to see if there was anything posted about this problem. To my surprise there were quite a few and some of them within the same mileage and or conditions. Most of them took there car to the dealer who either charged them for a new throttle body or pedal assembly or even the throttle cable. I just went out and looked at mine and discovered th
