The malfunction to report is after fueling the vehicle will stall out. There is the sign of the fuel sending unit and fuel pump cycling after the ignition is turned on. This only occurs after topping off the fuel. The safety of operation is the stalling may occur while driving as well as at sitting still. When driving and the vehicles stalls causes the steering wheel to stiffen and the must come to a complete stop, placed in park, turn off the ignition and wait for the possible reset. The problem has not been reviewed on my particular vehicle but has been reported by other 2005 Magnum owners. No other manufacturing process has inspected my vehicle. And there are no warning lights that come to indicate there is a problem.
When you feel the tank up the car shuts off a couple times until some of the gas went down then it acts normal
Engine stalls and cuts out while driving. I have owned this car since new and it has had this issue since the warranty expired. Basically when you fill the car up it will stall until you get the gas level down to a certain point. For years I have been filling the car to 3/4 tank to avoid the issue. This has now happened again on the way back from florida with my son driving. He filling the car up to the point where the pump clicks off. I think driving a car on the freeway at 70 miles an hour with this stalling is a big issue.
2005 Dodge magnum r/t stalls after refueling car. It will stall without warning serveral times. Took it to our local dealer and they did not have a clue what is wrong as no codes came up. It seems to straighten up after about 5 minutes of driving. *tr
After I fill up the fuel tank with gas, the vehicle stops running. This usually happens 1-3 times after filling up. It will die at low speeds or idle at a stop light and has even died while driving down the road (once in the middle of a roundabout) this seems to. Be a very common problem for these vehicles with the 5.7 liter v-8 (such as mine). I recently purchased this vehicle used after experiencing this issue, did a little digging and found out this a very common problem. This is obviously a hazard and I am wondering if there is a recall in place for this issue. *tr

The airbag light came on just after purchase and upon lowering the tilt wheel and did so after every supposed repair. I had this in for repair 7 times 5 of which were done at warrensburg Chrysler in warrensburg, missouri. By the time they had tried 5 times and torn my dash apart scratching all the lower kick panels and leaving me with a dash that rattles the vehicle was out of warranty and refused to rectify the issue. I then called the district rep and was told quote: (we ain't doing [xxx] about it!) at this point I gave up but did contact the federal trade commission and never received a reply. Seems as though Chrysler needs to make this right as it is a faulty sqib1 & 2 cable that is the issue leaving the airbag inoperable and a manufacture problem to tell an owner of a vehicle what

Car stalls going around corners. 10th incident happened today. All within past year.
When the gas tank is filled, the motor cuts out and stalls when driving, I have to keep the tank at half way to avoid this. My wife filled it up and it stalled on her while she was making a left hand turn in traffic. My child was in the car as well. It appears that this organization as well as Chrysler was aware of this situation. I never received any notification and have been dealing with it for some time now. This is unacceptable as my whole family was at stake! Please advise the next course of action. I am going to contact my local dealer as a start. Attaching a news article on the situation..
Car stalls sometimes when at complete stop,or at red lites.put it in park and starts back up as if nothing was wrong.

Tl* - the contact stated that had transmission failure. The vehicle had 18,000 mileson it. The check engine light first turned on at 10,000 miles. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer, and the check engine light was reset. In june 2006 the contact was driving in heavy traffic 70 MPH with clear and dry road conditions and the vehicle dropped to first gear. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road. The contact stated the air bag light and the check engine light came on. The contact called the dealer, waited a few minutes and drove the vehicle to the dealer. The dealer changed the throttle body and transmission control module. The vehicle performed well for approximately 3,000 miles. On dec 22, 2006 the check engine light came on, the contact called t
After starting my car, I attempted (without success) to shift out of park. The transmission shift interlock lever (as Chrysler calls it) had broken and locked the shifter in park. I fortunately had tools in the back and was able to disassemble the center console and get the car moving again. I was told by friends that Chrysler had issued a recall for this problem, and was forwarded a copy of Chrysler's customer satisfaction notification k39, which describes exactly what had happened to me. I took the car to the dealer for repair, and was told my car was not covered under the recall. I am still trying to get Chrysler to cover the repairs, as it is a seemingly very common issue with the lx platform. *tr

First off I do not feel safe in my Dodge magnum, I have had it a week and I am not satisfied that this car is safe for me and my kids. I am experiencing the sharp pull to the right, I was told it was"supposed" to do this, if I would have been told this I wouldn't have bought it. I was assured this would be the best and safest car I wouldn't have problems with it according to the salesman. I am disappointed being I do not feel safe with this vehicle, this pulling is dangerous and is going to severely injure or kill someone. This problem needs to be addressed and fixed before tragedy strikes. Mta. *nm

Original owner of 2005 Dodge magnum r/t 5.7l. This is the third time since purchase of the car that I have had to replace lug nuts on all 4 tires. This is the 2nd complaint filed. I filed a previous complaint in 2014. Lug nuts should not be designed with fancy chrome that spins round and round and requires special socket to remove in an emergency situation. Not sure how many other car owners have experienced my situation with lug nuts but the design and cost for replacement is criminal and requires an investigation.
