The back hatch window of my 2005 tuscon broke, sending the right 1/2 of the window flying down about 2 feet. The back door/hatch latch is also broken, you can't shut it without pulling he latch back out manually first after opening it. Has been over a month and 1/2 ;parts still not all in. Also, the gas cap latch is rested and I fear next to break. *tr

Have had vehicle into dealer many times over the years complaining of no start issue. Once vehicle is jumped it is fine for awhile. Battery, starter and alternator always seem to test good and no codes are found. I had to go buy a portable jumper unit to carry as this happens at least once a week and if it sits more than a few days, it will not start and is dead. Dealer states they cannot find the cause. Bought new in 2005 and has happened over 35 times since new. *tr

I bought my Hyundai tuscon brand new back in 2005. Last week I noticed a rattling sound coming from the rear windshield and when I went to check it the back windshield almost has fallen out. The latch that holds the windshield in place has corroded completely. I can honestly say that over the 5 years I have owned the vehicle I hardly open the back window. I usually open the entire tailgate when placing items for storage. I have contacted the dealer and Hyundai about the issue looking to get the latch replaced and haven't heard anything back from them. I have tried on several attempts since I notice the problem. This is dangerous and could cause the windshield to come falling out. *tr

My wife's Hyundai tucson (either 2005 or 2006) almost caused an accident today when the acceleration became erratic and then stalled while at an intersection. She immediately brought it into our Hyundai service center. I spoke with a service manager to tell him about a tps (throttle position sensor) problem that I have found out about specific to the 05-06 Hyundai tucson. I also called Hyundai because this problem will not show up as a 'fault code'. I have included here one of many notes found on the internet concerning this same problem: after having our 2006 tucson in the dealer's service shop for over three days, it was determined that the car needed a new tps(throttle position sensor). This was after they contacted Hyundai techline and after I suggested that they test the t
