The passlock system is an issue with this vehicle. The vehicle will not start on occasion, or in my case several occasions. Not only is it inconvenient, but I ask, what has happened to people who have stalled with this vehicle at stop lights or in other situations? I live in an area where the weather can drop to -30 (f). 10 minutes to wait for the system to reset can have detrimental effects. How many fatalities and injuries will it take before gm and the NHTSA act? This is a safety issue and it needs to be addressed. Our tax dollars bailed out gm, I expect a product that will not put me in a dangerous situation. Thank you for your time. *tr

12/09/2014 22,000 mi ODI #10663232.0

Have experienced problems with my truck's pass lock/anti-theft switch. The truck will not start and it takes ten minutes before the truck restarts. I had only about 22,000 miles on the truck when the problem first occurred. This issue continues to be a problem. The truck on has 26,000 miles. This problem could easily become a safety issue if truck shuts off in traffic. There should be a recall. Does someone have to die before a recall to happen? *tr

Like all the other reports and complaints I have read online about this type of vehicle. I have the same problem with my 2006 Chevy colorado. I bought the truck 4 years ago almost brand new and I'm still paying for it but can't move it because it would not pass the state emissions test. I have spent about $1,000 trying to fix my truck, buying parts and replacing them because the check engine light came on. At the end I was told it had several misfires and had to do with the camshaft solenoid position. The truck would come to a complete stop while going to an intersection or a stop sign . I was told and also read that my only solution to fix this problem is to put in another engine but with time the same problem will come back. I guess this problem should be handled by the manufacturer

Brake light switch out again. Had a recall on this in 2006. Matter was taken care of, but problems exists again. Called dealership and they said I am responsible for paying for the repair. Called customer assistance center through Chevrolet and they told me the same as the dealership. I believe this is a malfunction that gm needs to own up to and repair for me and all other customers with this problem at no charge. *tr

I own a 2006 Chevrolet colorado with 14,000 miles on it. I have taken my truck to the dealer on at least 5 occasions complaining of a terrible vibration. The vibration is horrible from 40-55+ miles per hour. The dealer has so far replaced the 2 front tires, replaced the air inside the tires, rotated the tires and most recently stated there is nothing else they can do. After the last visit, I said there is something wrong with the truck and you or gm are going to have to step up and do something. This is my only transportation and I am very nervous about driving the truck with this terrible vibration. Please let me know what else I can do. I think a recall is in the cards, either to replace the all the tires or make modifications to the truck frame, etc. *tr
