Car pulled out in front and hit the horn, which did not work, and now comes on only intermittently, or even on its own. This seems to be a common problem with the sebrings and from blogs seems to be due to a faulty switch inside the airbag cover on the steering wheel. This is a terrible safety hazard and should have been recalled. *tr

Horn goes off for no reason until fuse is pulled. Now that fuse is pulled I am driving around with no airbags. This has happened at least 4 times a week until I now go with the fuse out all the time. No safe driving around with out airbags!!!!! Please issue a recall on whatever is causing this issue and putting thousands of people at risk. (number of people based on internet forums and complaints!) *tr
With soooo many complaints about the horn issue located in the same spot as the airbag no one has put the pieces together about hows this may be caused by the airbag issue. The horn only has major issues when the humidity is high. This is the same reason the airbags are having issues and deploying with shrapnel. Can someone fight for the consumer here there is over 70 complaints about the horn which the component is shared with the airbag. This is occurring during high humidity maybe as a warning something is wrong with the component harnessing the horn and airbag????? Or the airbag pressure is triggering the horn before the pressure builds to deploy for no reason other than humid weather. *tr
We noticed at around 40,000 miles that the horn will just start honking by itself. If you drive down the street the horn honks. It does make for a very dangerous situation and should be recalled in my opinion. I don't know how many times I've almost been run over now because I can't use my horn. Only way to keep it from blowing whenever it wants to is to pull the fuse. Seems to happen more in colder weather, but have also been told that the problem also affects the airbags in the car. *tr

airbags 3 complaints shown
At the time of collision the airbags did not deploy correctly. The airbag seems to have burst at the seams and projectlies of debris and chemicals came from the air bag instead. I hit my head on the windshield and hit my chest on steering wheel. I was burned on my arms, hands and ribs/chest. I have pulmonary and neurological injury. as well as changes to my sight and hearing. My car filled with thick "smoke" that was hot and made us choke and gasp for air. We breathed in these chemicals. My two disabled children were also injured by the chemicals.

engine 1 complaint shown
I have a 2006 sebring with a 2.4l engine that has had the seals replaced twice and it still kept pouring oil. My original mechanic said there was nothing more he could do and the engine should be replaced. I was referred to anther mechanic by a friend who did a lot more work in trying to fnd out why they could not fix the oil leak. He found out that the 2005 and 2006 engines were missing a thrust bearing and so it kept pushing the crankshaft against the timing belt which pushed out the front seal. Chrysler fixed the design by adding a second thrust bearing with a new revision to the engine. After 8 weeks and $5500 of repair and rental builds, I have a new half block and it seems to be fxed. I think Chrysler should have put out a recall on these motors since there was a design fla
