"takata recall" vehicle needs reappair and they are filing bankruptcy. I ordered a part already for it but needs to be ECU not sure if its related so I am ordering that part but I am unable to get this done before today, due to needing to get the vehicle to dealer and we live 30 minutes from town in the forest, I can't do a tow to get fixed so I am concerned that because of the bankruptcy, I am going to be stuck with a bill to keep my family safe. I tried to have vehicle fixed before the 12/27 deadline so that tatka can still be responsible for their errors and my family can be safe and others that are in this vehicle.

Vehicle has a delayed engagement after sitting for an extended period of time. Particularly happens in colder weather. Delayed engagement will also make transmission start off in higher gear. Will take roughly 30 seconds to engage into gear. Issue is sporadic therefore local Dodge garage has failed to diagnose problem. Dodge has had many tsa notices concerning this same delayed engagement but still neglects to take responsibility for their flaw. After speaking to multiple transmission shops I have been made aware that the 2006 Ram transmission pump is faulty and even the manager at the local Dodge garage verified that Dodge has replaced the pump with a different model because of the delayed engagement but yet they still are not replacing the faulty pumps that are currently in the vehicle

1.. All 02-2005 (maybe 2006) 9.25" lsds are affected. 2.. The retaining clips fail. 3.. After enough wear on the housing the clips can come loose, which at a high rate of speed could get lodged in the ring and pinion and cause the rear end to lock up. And at 75 MPH having the rear tires lock up surely spell out injury or death. 4.. That even when the problem is found and repaired under warranty the parts are replaced with the same junk as before. *jb

Started hearing a low howling noise in my front end when going around curves in the road, it progressively got louder after a couple weeks to a grinding sound, took it to the dealer where I bought it performance Dodge, woodbury, nj. They stated that both front wheel bearings were bad. I told the service manager that I heard there was a recall on my year model for that very reason, he stated that he never heard of it, I informed him of the reason for the recall, and his answer was that my truck was 6 years old and those things wear out. I said are you crazy the truck has only 38000 miles on it, his answer was it was a good thing I purchased a extened sevice contract. It cost me $107.00 deductable.I called Chrysler and was told there was no recall on my truck.this was my first Chrysler produc

12/27/2013 ODI #10557388.0

The passenger side headlight does not turn on even after replacement when the headlight switch is in the on position. Dealer has determined that the fault is the tipm (totally integrated power module). Per dealer mfg no longer produces the tipm unit. Per dealer aftermarket no longer manufactures part either. Dealer suggests wrecking yard, however part is a computer based product that still must be reprogrammed by dealer after replacement. This is a safety issue with lighting, and the passenger side headlight will not function without this unit being replaced. *tr

The recirculation door broke for the heater and air conditioning. This problem causes a low flow rate because the door blocks the fan opening, which leads to fogged windows and snow buildup on the windshield. Dodge is aware of the problem and has reengineering the door assembly, but is not fixing vehicles with the problem if the vehicle is out of warranty, instead they are charging customers for the parts and labor to fix the problem. This is an obvious defect, but Dodge is not repairing vehicles with the problem, instead they are charging customers for their mistake. My truck is a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 with only 35,000+ miles on it, but outside of Dodge's 3 yr or 36,000 mile warranty. Please make them recall this issue.
