I was driving on the highway at 50mph going around a slight bend to the right when I experienced the Dodge "death wobble." I had to slow down and pull over for it to go away. This is the 3rd time this has happened. All the forums I've checked suggest purchasing after market heavier duty steering components. This doesn't seem reasonable to me considering the cost of the vehicle in the first place. I also go thru ball joints every year and I've never had to change them on any other vehicle I've ever owned. *tr

I own a 2006 Dodge 1 ton crew cab truck. During the month of december I started to experience wheel bouncing when a hit a bump at speeds over 60 miles per hour. I contact the local Dodge dealer, they look at it and said nothing was wrong. On december 20, 2006 I hit a bump on the interstate at nearly 70 miles per hour that put my truck into an uncontrollable shake, nearly hit the car next to me and slide sideways to a stop. Very lucky that others were not hit or that I did not roll. I had the truck towed to springfield, mo and took it to central Dodge. They immediately said it was the front steering stabilizer shock and that they have had numerous other incidents involving this part without even looking at the truck. They change the part and the problem is fixed, but something was t

Failure of windshield wiper linkage caused loss of vision during heavy rain storm. This is obvious not an isolated incident. The dealers are selling the replacements as fast as they get them in. My Dodge truck is only 4 years old and the linkage failed where the linkage arm is connect to the windshield wiper arm mount. The problem stems from a ball and socket design that requires an nylon bushing to hold the two parts together. The nylon bushing is failing prematurely (only 4 years.) since the replacement is the exact duplicate, we can expect it to also wear out (another 4 years) and create and instant driving hazard. This needs to be redesigned by Dodge and replaced on all vehicles immediately before a serious accident happens. To keep replacing it with the same flawed design is ab

Cold weather causes ice to form on the inside and outside of the windshield and the heater control would not go to defrost. Had to stop in heavy traffic to scrape the inside and outside of windshield to remove ice. The air flow, blend door plastic actuator that is connected to the electric motor broke. The dealer told me it is very common and charged me 578.93 to fix the problem. I had no choice but to have them fix it because it was to dangerous to drive in the winter. *tr

2006 Dodge Ram 2500 turn signals don't work part time and part time turn on the wrong signal like turn on left and it turns on the right, also the wipers won't turn on some times and then won't turn on past slow wipe, when you turn on the brights it turns on the washer and wipers, I understand this is the same switch, the multifunction switch, Dodge has redesigned it now twice according to a dealer but has not recalled it and charges high dollars to fix it up to $700.00 this is a safety issue and should have been recalled years ago what is the hang up for the recall? *tr

I purchased my 2006 Dodge 2500 4x4 brand new in 2006. My truck is in great condition except for two major concerns..my a/c went out in dec. 2010 it was replaced with another defective one which was immediately replaced again. Dealer did not replace the flapper under dash. I took truck in nov. 2011 the windshield would get extremely foggy and a noise would come from under dash when I put a/c on high, dealer said it was the flap that would control where the air is directed. They wanted 800.00 to replace a 34.00 part. I told them that should have been fixed when they replaced a/c. Dealer said it still would not be covered under warranty anyway. This is a serious issue when fog gets on windshield why does someone have to die before a part is recalled. I have to open my windows to DEF

2006 Dodge 2500 mega cab. While sitting at a stop light in a left turn lane with left turn signal on, I experienced erratic timing of the left turn signal, and quick flashes of the opposite (right) turn signal. Moving the steering wheels direction seemed to remedy the problem, and I have not been able to duplicate the problem. *tr

2006 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel- the turn signal indicator frequently activates the turn signals in the wrong direction. I've noticed that adjusting the tilt column corrects the signal in most cases. There seems to be a flaw in the signal system that causes a short or something of that nature. I've had this problem since 2007, within months of buying the truck. It was infrequent at first and I neglected to take it in while the truck was under warranty. Now it happens almost every day. *tr

I have the laramie package which has adjustable pedals as option. There's is a bushing that the brake pedal mounts to the armthis bushing breaks or wears out and causes the pedal to swing left and right. This is a safety issue which causes your foot to slip off pedal as it swings. I have done research and this incident is not isolated to my year model. There are several right ups on this same same problem. This is not an easy fix as the steeering column has to be removed. It also is not cheap. The parts are on national back order to to the amount of pedals failing. This is a huge safety risk or concern. I have read several forums to where people have had them replaced only to have the same issue. I was stopped at a major intersection and foot slipped off pedal. Sometimes while driving and
