Takata recall - I see a news story that some of this recall in texas will be expedited, it seems like my vehicle would be applicable for this. But the ntsb VIN check website still says "recall status: recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available" I would like to know why my vehicle is not included in this new expedited effort for texas vehicles. *tr

Takata recall I received a letter in july 2015 telling me about the safety recall and today december 01 2015 they still have no replacement parts available. Why are they not being forced to take care of this?

Driver airbag inflator replacement.. NHTSA recall number: 16v036 recall date: january 22, 2016 manufacturer recall number: 16s03 Ford has yet to contact me to let me know if the part is available, this is unacceptable. The recall says the driver side airbag inflator could rupture if the vehicle is involved in a crash where the supplemental frontal airbags are designed to deploy. If this occurs, it may increase the risk of injury or death to the occupants. If it is this serious, than why am I still driving this vehicle, I should be in a rental until this recall is accomplished. There are already deaths involved , this is why there is a recall. I was in a minor accident on november 23, 2016, I am blessed that my airbag didn't deploy, now I'm more worried than ever. *tr
About two years ago I received a notice for a recall on my rangers airbags and followed the instructions and had it replaced by my local Ford dealer. A month ago while the ranger being parked at a restaurant parking lot I observed another parked car reversing back into the front end of the ranger causing no physical damage to the front of the ranger, only to have both driver and passenger airbags to inflate prematurely. This mere impact should not have caused the airbags to inflate in the manner that it did.

The entire frame is rusted, the rust on the frame around the rear spring shackle rusted enough that the shackle is broken free. This was noticed due to the noises the shackle makes when moving. The vehicle has less than 108,000 miles. In addition the side steps rusted through and were hanging down, I had to remove them to prevent them from falling off.
The frame of my ranger has rusted badly , causing the rear spring shackles to no longer be attached to the frame.also the bed of the truck has rusted away badly. I I spoke to a guy who specializes in frame / axle repair . After inspecting it , he told me that the only option to repair my truck was to replace the frame , because the frame is rusted too badly to be able to be welded , he said the only other option was to junk it . The truck has 102,000 miles on it and is otherwise in good condition . I had planned to own it for years to come . Now I am afraid to trust it . And I would not feel right about selling it to someone else . I use this truck to haul hay to feed my livestock , but now I am afraid to load it up and drive down the road with it .I had the tires replaced and the servic
I was driving down the road and I hit a bump and my spare tire fell down and out of the truck onto the highway. I stopped immediately and retrieved my wheel of the highway and saw that it was still connected to part of the mount. The next day I drove to a repair shop to put the truck on a lift to look at the damage and realized that the entire frame had rotted under the truck. I left the repair garage and was heading home when I hit a pothole the entire driver side front frame rotted and the wheel fell partially off the truck, so I had the truck towed to my office parking lot and parked it, because it is not drivable anymore. I contacted Ford they told me to have it towed to a local dealership and they would send a rep out to look at it. So I did and the rep never came out and they told m

The first incident occurred on 12/15/2011 as I was traveling from savannah, ga. To atlanta, ga. I was getting off my exit to the i675 and slowed down by hitting the brake and the vehicle started to speed up. I was not using the speed control at all as I missed my exit and shut the vehicle off in order to stop. On 12/22/2011 I was coming home to detroit, mi. And had an accident in ga. I was traveling at 35 MPH, it was raining heavily and as I proceeded to slow down around a curve I immediately lost control of vehicle as the truck fishtailed into oncoming traffic and I turned my wheel to avoid a collision with 2 vehicles in that lane and ended up in a culvert.I sustained minor injuries but luckily there were no other injuries or deaths as this vehicle was the only one involved. At that time

Fuel inertial cut-off switch activates randomly, usually once or twice a year. Result is sudden unexpected loss of engine power. Can happen while driving in town or on the freeway. Does not matter if the vehicle is moving fast or slow. The device can be reset by pushing a button but the device is not accessible from the drivers side while driving. Dangerous as the loss of power is total, immediate, and without warning. The is currently no recall for this item but I see from your website and other websites that this problem has happened to other people.

I own a 2006 ranger 3.0 auto. That has 35,300 mi. The fuel delivery inertia switch has kicked out under normal driving conditions twice. First time at 32,172 mi. And had to be towed to a dealer. The technician reset the switch and I had no problems until 35,100 mi. This time I was lucky enough to be in a parking lot, instead of out in moving traffic. When tis happens, the engine, of course, dies immediately. The switch cannot be reset while sitting in the driver's seat. The dealer will not replace as they cannot fail the switch during " their" road test. *tr
