ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ARMS WERE INCORRECTLY ASSEMBLED BY THE SUPPLIER

THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL COULD BE HELD DOWN BY THE PEDAL STOP ASSEMBLY INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Fix: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE PEDAL ASSEMBLY AND REPLACE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON AUGUST 11, 2005. OWNERS MAY CONTACT JAGUAR AT 1-800-452-4827.
