On certain passenger vehicles, the accelerator pedal arms were incorrectly assembled by the supplier

The accelerator pedal could be held down by the pedal stop assembly increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: Dealers will inspect the pedal assembly and replace the accelerator pedal free of charge. The recall began on august 11, 2005. Owners may contact Jaguar at 1-800-452-4827.
