Takata recall the airbags covered in this recall have not been made available by the Lincoln motor company. This leaves my car at risk which leaves the possibility for injury or death in the future. The deadline for a claim in the takata bankruptcy is december 27, 2017. All affected cars should have the same opportunity to file suit in the case of death or injury. I would like to request that the takata bankruptcy hearing be postponed until all affected cars have been offered the opportunity to have the defective airbag replaced.

Had a flat tire going down the highway. Didn't think much about it...it happens. Got a couple of new tires put on and a few months later it happens again. Ruining the $250 tire again. My mechanic says the chrome is peeling off my rims and that is what is causing me to lose air pressure in the tire, and that I should replace the rims. They are about $550 a piece so thats not going to happen. These cars that have low profile tires need to have tire pressure monitoring systems because you can't look at the tire and tell its low. If Ford doesn't feel this is a safety issue they are wrong.I work at a Ford dealership and I see stupid recalls for things that might happen one time in a thousand. But I bet this is happening to all the zephyr, fusions, milans, or anything they are putting these junk ri
I have had my 2006 Lincoln zephyr for 1 1/2 years. I noticed within almost a month that my front driver tire was having a slow leak. Shortly after all my tires were slowly leaking and I would fill the tires to 33psi's as recommended, but by two days the PSI's would be down to 8psi. My first incident that occurred was driving on the interstate and my back passenger tire blew out. I have bought all new tires and within almost 3 months the slow leak occurred again in all the tires. I have had my tires resealed numerous times ( the reseal holds for almost 3 months) and the leak is coming from the back of the rim where the rim and tire meets. I have been told by mechanics that the leaks are damaging the walls of my tire and the mechanic has put new valves on and the tires still leaks. I have I
I have a 2006 Lincoln zephyr and I have noticed the chrome on my rims is peeling off and the rims are becoming very corroded. The tire keep deflating due to this problem even after you air the tires up they slowly leak air. I have seen many complaints about this happening to these rims and it could cause a blow out due to under inflation as the tire specifically says on the side of the tire. This needs to be addressed. *tr

This car has a engine and transmission from a Ford fusion, its shifting violently and is not safe. The transmission built for this vehicle is very poor craftsmanship and no recall was made. Several vehicles have been affected by the lack of quality control at Ford. *tr

Purchased linc zepher in jan 2006, auto has been serviced 4 or 5 times to repair/replace the cooled/heated sets. The unit never ran for more than 30 minutes and when down from there to 15 min then 5 min then not at all. Dealer replaced all parts relating to this unit but system will function on for 30 minutes now at full capacity then for the next 30 minutes run at a diminished capacity then after 60 minutes in total does not function. Service rep. States this is normal operation of this equipment it overheats and will not work. Even though the zepher sales information states on page 10. - "the 3 cool settings join 3 heat settings to keep you comfortable all day - and all night"

The dash is warping and rising up in the center. This has been going on for years but is now to the point that it affects the defrost flow of air. This means the windshield is frequently fogging over, affecting visibility. I can no longer fully defrost my windshield. Lincoln has refused to fix it at their cost. They want around $5000 to replace it.
brakes 1 complaint shown
Brake peddle goes to the floor after ABS is activated. In my case trying to stop in the snow. This is the second time this has happened. First time with 51318 miles, second with 62700 miles. The internet in full of people complaining about the anti-lock brake pump failing which causes the brake peddle to go to the floor. I have another to add to that list. With this being a $1000+ fix and seeing how many have had this problem it is understandable why we believe this should be a recall.
