Takata recall now im being told that no passengers are safe in the front seat of my car until "further notice". This car has been in the recall process for quite some time and now there is no end in sight. This new notice renders my car valueless on the open market. I cannot use it safely, I cannot sell it as it carrys with it a liability that is insurmountable

Takata recall nothing has happened (yet!), but I wish to formally complain about Ford/mercury dragging their feet on fulfilling the demands of the airbag recall which was issued a year-and-a-half ago. They are still claiming that we (owners) will be notified by mail when the remedy/part is available, but the delay is because they have spent so much time and effort trying to weasel out of their obligation, asking (and recently being denied by) the NHTSA for a pass, while other manufacturers like Nissan and Honda have been much more concerned with the safety of vehicle owners, and proactive with their recall obligations. I cannot afford a new vehicle and so I have to live with the fact that every time my family or I use this car, our very lives are at risk, because Ford apparently fe
Takata recall: we have attempted many times over the years to get service re: the takata recall on our vehicle. The dealerships have notified us each time that they are unable to get the part(s). Where can we take our car to get this resolved? I feel we're in danger and no one is helping us.
The air bag light would come on and stay on for a few minutes. Then it would go off. I received a recall notice for the airbags. I had no idea we have been driving an unsafe car for 2 years this happened while the car is motion and while on in town streets
My car is part of a recall on airbags. When I check out your site, my car is on the list and a possible danger to me. However, the recall status says incomplete, and not remedy. What does that mean? I do I get my car fixed? Do I have to submit any other forms or do I call a dealer. I definitely want to make sure that my car is listed on the recall list. Is there a deadline for december 27th for me?
Takata recall: I received a safety recall notice in july from Ford motor company informing me of seatbelt issue affecting my vehicle. According to local Lincoln//mercury/Ford dealer, parts not yet available six months after receiving notice. Since this is a safety concern of grave consequences, I am reluctant to use the vehicle. Since it is an older vehicle located in the southern region, when might I expect the part(s) to be available?

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 mercury milan. While attempting to stop the vehicle by depressing the brake pedal, the brake pedal traveled all the way to the floor. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic on several occasions where the brakes were replaced; however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,000.
My break paddle is different than other days, is hard to break from a short distance. Feels like is doesn't want to stop.

The cars stumbles when you accelerate every time. I have taken back to dealer twice. They say this is the way the car should act. I disagree very much. I have almost had three wrecks due to poor acceleration. *nm

Turned my car on one morning and a wrench indicator light came on followed by the check engine light upon driving to my repair shop to get problem looked at noticed a significant decrease in acceleration power and vehicle was in "limp mode" my mechanic told me. Looked up the issue and found it was a common issue with my make and model and that a complaint has been submitted for a recall of the throttle body on my vehicle and many others so I am submitting my complaint to help get this issue put into recall status as the part is fairly expensive and I don't believe we as a consumer should have to pay out of pocket for a defect from faulty parts installed on the vehicle at the factory. *tr

The interior door handles are breaking. My rear passenger side interior door handle broke about a year ago. I didn't think anything of it. This week my front passenger side interior door handle broke. Because of this my front passenger side door will not lock. I did research online and there are many cases of this happening. The door handles are cheap plastic that break easily with regular use. *tr

Started car for a drive after oil change/ disconnect battery for terminal cleaning and reconnect. Upon acceleration, could not get car to shift unless let off gas. Shifts hard, did not shift 3 and 4 gear until acceleration of at least 55 MPH, then 70 in 4th gear. On highway seemed to want to slow down. Upon parking, let it idle. Car flashed engine light, wrench and curvy road. Idling was rough, as if vacuum was not working. Turned car off and then on. Wrench disappeared and curvy road but engine light on. Checked codes. Only threw one code not related to problem. Unable to drive this way. So many complaints but no recalls. Never buying a Ford again. Looks like time for foreign car.
