I had a similar problem to everyone else. I was leaving a parking lot at a low rate of speed and when I went to stop the brake pedal went to the ground, there was a grinding sound and the "parking brake light" came on. Since I only had a couple miles to go I drove home and every time I went to brake this happened. The next morning I went to take it to the brake shop and the light was off and the armada drove normal. The brake guys called and said everything looked fine and that's when I went online and found 100's of people with the same thing happening to their armadas at all speeds but the constant in all seemed to be 2004-2007 armadas. Seems no one (including the dealerships could fix the issue) and the only constant fix was to turn the ignition off and then restart it. This seemed to f

2006 Nissan armada lost braking ability 2 times when this symptom happens. Brake light comes on the dashboard, brake pedal goes all the way to the floor, and there is grinding noise from the front end toward the wheels. Vehicle braking ability is reduced to 10% or less. Turning ignition off/on resolves for short time, but not a permanent fix. Nissan has tsb ntb06-040, but they want to charge for reprogramming the vdc control unit. *tr

Multiple times, our Nissan armada has had incidents with the brakes. The brake pedal modulates/shutters, stopping distances are increased, and a loud vibration can be heard and felt from the front of the vehicle. I've done some research on this and found many other armada and titan owners have experienced this. See "armada delta stroke sensor" or "armada brake problem" in a google search. Also, Nissan has just settled a class action lawsuit: http://www.courthousenews.com/2013/12/26/64077.htm. This is an issue that affects the safety of these vehicles and should be addressed. *tr

Brakes not working properly, lights coming on dash (vdc, slip, brake) and resetting once engine turns off and on again. Service doesn't have any fix, have suggested brake booster (over $1000) but diagnostics is going to be $110 and have read hundreds of internet posts of this not fixing the problem. Http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/webx/.f1e3686?displayrecent and http://www.topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/1154--Nissan-armada-a-titan-truck-infinity-qx56-class-action-lawsuit to name a few. There are suggestions from other service nissans of reprogramming PCM $100, brake rotors and disc replacements $1000+, computer resets $100-200, master cylinder sensors replacement $400. Brakes going in and out while driving making it very difficult to stop. Mechanic says delta s sensor code came up and this is very common for this make, model and year. Also said to report it since it is a huge safety issue. Feels like the brakes are bouncing on the rotors and barley stopping the car. While waiting for the light to turn green feels like car is still trying to go forward while brakes are bouncing on the rotors.

While driving the brake light came on and when I attempted to stop pedal goes almost to the floor and loud grinding noise is heard. I was able to barely stop the vehicle, I then shut off the vehicle, checked around the vehicle as well as engine compartment not finding any noticeable issue. Restarted the vehicle and brake light was off able to stop with no issue and no grinding noise was heard. Mentioned this to dealer when it was brought in for oil change and they indicated that there was no notice of a recall for this issue. They checked the vehicle and could not find any issues. This has happened several more times where brake light goes on, issue with trying to stop and loud grinding noise. The remedy seems to be to get the vehicle stopped, barely, shut off the vehicle, wait for a

I am having issues with my brake light that keeps coming on while I am driving. And when I hit the brakes my truck jerks badly, my brake light comes on, my brake pedal vibrates while stopping. I was told I need my brake booster replaced which was done and I am still having the same issues. I was told by the mechanic the code c1179 is the issues. The code is Nissan - delta stroke sensor malfunctioning which only Nissan can fix the problem (and there is a service bulletin for this issues as well). What needs to happen for Nissan to address this issue that is going on with several trucks. I don't like the feeling of driving and cannot stop or feel as if I am going to hit someone I have children and I don't want to get into an accident with them or anyone else within the truck because of thi

Emergency brake light has come on when driving at low speeds. When trying to stop, the car has low braking power and grinds and jumps. Almost in 3 accidents now. You have to stop and turn the car off and back on. There are thousands of complaints out there. Nissan plays dumb and tries to charge you $180 diagnostic charge and then $900 for a brake booster. Needs to be recalled immediately. Why has the NHTSA not investigated??? *tr
