I received notice in june or july by mail that there was a recall on the takata airbag and that I needed to take it to the dealership to have the recall serviced. I took my perfectly good vehicle in for recall and was sent home with the lid over the aribag not secure and partially open. I received another recall for the same takata airbag again a few months later. I called GMC to complain that I do not feel safe as the airbag is not secure in the vehicle and I should not have been allowed to leave the dealership with this unsafe vehicle. Because the airbag is not secure I believe that if I hit a pothole or a bump the airbag will explode and cause "blindness" or death as this was stated on the airbag recall. I have taken my car to the dealership and each time the airbag gets worse and

My 2006 Pontiac vibe began shifting harshly and the check engine light came on. This occurred beginning before thanksgiving. I received a recall notice on the vehicle earlier in november, stating these were 2 of the signs of the defective part. I called the 800 number on the recall notice and the Pontiac representative told me the repair work had not begun on the recall, the representative also told me my car was not one being recalled. I asked why I received the recall notice and she told me all vibe owners got the notice and I would receive another notice when the parts were available. I called a local Pontiac dealership and was informed this condition was not unsafe or detrimental to the vehicle. My vehicle has not stalled, nor has the engine died. I have not driven the car of the pa

This is also having the stalling problem, computer code po607, requiring a replacement ECM, described in NHTSA action # pe09054 of november 30, 2009. Car stalled while merging on highway and I could have been killed by getting rear-ended. The car is in the shop right now (12/15/09) and I have asked the dealer, brustolon GMC in mystic ct (860)536-2627 to save the defective ECM/PCM as evidence, but they won't without charging me more because they claim it is a core return! *tr

RainX Weatherbeater 21" wiper blade purchased on or about 12/13/24 at this location: Meijers 1703 Haggerty Rd Commerce, MI 48390 Wiper is supposed to come with a small clip pre-attached to the blade assy and a large clip loose in the packaging for those applications needing the large clip. My car needs the smaller clip This wiper was packaged with the large clip pre-attached and no loose parts in the package. Not knowing any better at the time I attached the wiper using the large clip. Seemed OK but something didn't seem right so I double checked and realized the wiper was mis-packaged. Obviously if I hadn't double checked it would have set up the potential for the wiper to detach during normal usage as it doesn't "click" into place as it should.
