Air bag recall taking too long. They keep saying that a repair is not yet available.

Takata recall I am unable to obtain any definitive information from the nearest dealer regarding when an airbag replacement can be done. The dealerships state that they do not have a loaner program. What can a consumer do to expedite a resolution to this matter?

Takata recall.I have had no information from Audi since the initial notice in april. My car will be 10 years old this coming april. According to news media there is suppose to be some priority status set based on age and location but I can not find what my priority is. Given the lack of action I would like my priority number or approval to disconnect this safety hazard!

Takata recall. I have scheduled with my local Audi dealer two times to have this airbag recall replacement completed, and both times, they have called me to inform me that they a) do not have the parts, and b) do not know when they will get them. This happened again for the second time today, 11/14/2018 with royal motors san francisco. According to https://vinrcl.safercar.gov/VIN/vinlookup these parts were expected to be available in april of this year. It is now mid-november, 7 months late. This is unacceptable for a safety item such as this. Why aren't the parts available, and why don't they know when they will be?? Until then, I'll be continuing to drive this potentially dangerous vehicle.

"takata recall" - I have been getting notices for a year and still can't get this work performed. I have contacted (800) 253-2834 and they still haven't gotten back to me. Nhsta campaign number: 16v079000. Fuel tank ventilation valve NHTSA campain number: 09v37700 never got notice on this recall till I went on your site. I need to know if Audi will ever get these parts/service centers to fix it. Of course it costs money for them - seems like its just lip service. Can't get a service center willing to perform this work; no parts. Feels like service is blaming parts and visa versa. This is not acceptable. Whats the point of a recall if nothing is ever going to be fixed? So far no accident has occurred requiring as it relates to these recalls. Does the govt./Audi only want

Takata recall. No repair to this issue is available nor can I be given an estimate of the time frame involved from Audi of america. Yet other manufacturers such as Honda are already making the repairs. This is a complete outrage. If something happens to myself or family who is accountable for this issue?

Takata recall I have called the Audi dealer to get my defective airbag replaced in june. I have made repeated calls to see when I can have this replaced. The dealer advised they only receive the parts intermittently and will advise us when we are next on the list for replacement. It is october and still have not received replacement. This is my main car for daily use.

I live in kauai, hi. There is no Audi dealer. They refuse to send someone over from oahu to fix the airbags. They want me to pay $500 for shipping and be without my car for 2 weeks, in addition there are now 2 airbag recalls one of which they have no fix for and its been 1 year. Meanwhile I am still driving the car and it is very dangerous. I have spent hours on the phone with them and they refuse to solve this issue.

Takata recall my car is subject to a takata recall that Audi announced in january 2018 (final remedy recall for takata airbags) ; I receive periodic postcards from Audi on the recall- which instruct me to contact an Audi dealer and get the recall remedied asap. However, I have called every washington dc area Audi dealer every months since january and they refuse to do the recall repair. Most say the parts are not available. I have emailed and spoken to Audi usa, since the Audi website says parts are available and my car can be fixed - nothing says the truth, which is that dealers don't have the parts to do the recalls. Audi usa just apologizes but refuses to provide any information or correct/update their websites certainly false state, nets that this recall can currently be repair

On my way to work in my 2007 Audi a3-all of a sudden I lose power and my car stops accelerating and shifts into neutral. I see that the p d n s lights are flashing so I attempt to restart my car. It starts to go again and then sputters forward without me doing anything. Luckily I wasn't far from home and was able to restart my car again and get it home while the car revved like crazy going less than 20mph. After some research I have found that many Audi/vw's experience this in their vehicles. These are all characteristic of a faulty mechatronic unit associated with the car's dsg. *tr

10/05/2009 30,000 mi ODI #10286273.0

My car was okay for the first year or so that I owned it. Starting about the beginning of 2009, my dsg transmission started acting funny. When I would let off of the brake, the car would sit for a split second and then jump forward quickly as if I had blurped the throttle. Sometimes it does it twice before rolling smoothly. It feels like the clutch is engaging too strongly and then letting off. Also, when coming to a stop, the transmission seems like it holds on to the gear a little too long and makes my car jump forward right before a stop. It does this is reverse also. It has caused me to almost hit another vehicle while parking and also has caused me to go too far into the crosswalk at a stop light. It does this all of the time, not just when the engine/transmission is cold. *tr

09/11/2013 65,000 mi ODI #10543171.0

I was driving and the car wouldn't shift into 3rd gear so I was holding up traffic and struggled to get the car back home. I was told by dealer today I had two bad coils and the megatronic which controlled the transmission was going out. I heard 2006 models had a recall on the megatronic but not 2007. I cant believe I need to spend $2500 on anew megatronic for a car that has less than 70k miles and I spent 4290 today for diagnostic, plugs, and coils. The previous 2002 Audi a4 I had the same problem with the coils but they eventually issued the campaign and reimbursed me for the coils. *tr
