Takata recall manufacturer recall number2049151 NHTSA recall number16v381 it has been nearly two years and Chevrolet still says there is no remedy for my recall, the service agents said for nobody to ride in my passenger seat due to safety reasons because of the airbag, but with a single cab truck there is no way around that. I have been repeatedly hung up on when talking to the service representatives over the phone about the issue. Two years is way to long for something that should be an easy fix for them.
"service air bag" dash light came on. And vehicle is in good shape, never a wreak since new, original owner

Takata recall of air bags. I was notified of the active recall on may 27, 2016, dealer says no replacement air bags are available and when they are, indiana is a state last on the list for receiving them.
Air bag recall, every time I check with dealer he says takata has not come up with a fix for this vehicle so im still living with it. This is gone long enough, if they cant fix what they have out there make them quit selling new ones. I bet they get fixed then

The dash is cracking in several different places an gm needs to do something about it.
Defective tow hitch class iv receiver, after hearing of many problems with the factory gm hitch I inspected mine and it is cracked in 2 places, if I hadn't caught it there could have been a uncoupling of trailer due to hitch failure. I will be replacing this with an aftermarket hitch that is from a reputable company. Hitch is available for review. *tr

Have 3 cracks in dashboard. 2 above driver side instrument cluster, and 1 on passenger side next to passenger airbag. Had piece of dash break off and fall inside dashboard assembly. Gm only wants to compensate up to 20% to have this replaced. I believe that gm should be replacing these at their cost due to the number of complaints of this happening. Feel that this could be a safety issue if I were to get into a wreck, and pieces of the dashboard break off. *js
fuel system 1 complaint shown
I just bought a used 2006 silverado 1500 from a dealer. Went home with a full tank of gas, week later went to fill it up and the needle stopped halfway between 3/4 and full and it would not let me put it in. Truck had 14650 miles on it when it started and now has 16450. Still under warranty and has been to the dhop 6 times and they have replaced every part of the fuel system and still no better. The next step is to bring a gm rep in to determine what is wrong. *tr
steering 1 complaint shown
2007 Chevy silverado, purchased in late 2006. Took vehicle to dealer where purchased could find nothing wrong. Brakes squeaking very loudly, truck is bouncing erratically and sense a steering issue. 1st dealer also told me the tires just needed to be rotated. The truck is now at another dealer and I have yet to hear the verdict. The truck makes whining noises like in old trucks when the power steering would go bad. This truck currently has 21,000 miles. *tr

2007 Chevrolet silverado TPMS (tire pressure monitor system) inoperative. The TPMS system does not relearn as outlined in the vehicle owner manual and if attempted the system is rendered inoperative. A consumer may not know the system malfunction until the first attempt to relearn, but gm supplied document id# 1883524 indicates general motors was aware of the issue on 12/28/06. Despite this information they continue to ignore this issue. It has now been one year since they have identified this issue. I also attempted the relearn procedure in a 2008 vehicle as well and it did not function either. I have made several attempts contacting gm and including the selling dealer to resolve this and no fix is available. Specifically gm business resources paulo salvador (800-231-1841 ext 11824) s
