Engine light on for more than a week. Did not notice anything different while driving. Took vehicle in to have inspection 6/14/2009, and found error codes after diagnostic test was performed on the transmission. Was then quoted $8,000 to tear down and inspect, labor, and new transmission. *tr
I took my car in for transmission issues, ever time I would change my gears the SUV would jerk. I took it in, and they said I had a broken front and rear motor mound. So they replaced the front, and orders a rear. After leaving the that day my esp/bass light came on and my power light can my car rear tires were locking. I called them the next day and took it in 2 days later due to being booked, and they fix the rear mound, but said nothing was wrong with the esp/bass light and the other lights. My transmission is still jerking when driving. So I took it to their other dealership, I told her my engine light cam on and will not turn off now. My car seem to want to die. I got scared, and stopped waited 30mins then turned it back on, and lights were still on. So now my transmissions jerks, the

This vehicle tends to stall at or below 35 MPH. Have been to independent mechanics and Chrysler and no one can seem to figure out why it stalls. When it stalls there is a loss of control of the car and is very dangerous especially when in rush hour traffic. My wife drives this vehicle along with my 3 children. I have seen numerous complaints on this matter and I am quite surprised there has not been a recall. *tr

Beginning in july 2011 the gas gauge became erratic. It would show 1/2 tank and 200miles to empty. Within 20 miles it would show low fuel and shortly after run out of gas. Around the same time the fuel tank would take a very long time to fill. The nozzle keeps kicking off as if the tank were full. The only way to fuel it is to gently squeeze the nozzle and trickle it in. The fastest it will take fuel is slow enough that you can actually count the pennies on the pump as they go up. After e-mailing Chrysler no less than 7 times and finally demanding to speak to a supervisor I received a phone call today,12/29/2011. I had him on the phone for 40 minutes and got nowhere. The last e-mail they sent me said the answer would remain the same, which tells me there was a predetermined answer to my pr
After my 2007 Chrysler pacifica fuel gauge gets below 1/2 tank, the gauge starts dropping at an alarming rate. If I drive 1 mile it reacts indicating as much as a 10 mile drop. While sitting at a stop light the gas gauge jumps around between 2 and 3 miles differences. I do not get a full 20 gallon drive from my vehicle. I can fill up the car but once the gauge indicates it's empty the car will not start. I logged it as only showing 320 miles and going empty, when full the gauge indicates 400 miles. This reading is changing now on a weekly basis. I have looked on the internet and other people are complaining about the same problem with this car. *tr
A check engine light illuminated and the DTC code indicated a fault in fuel EVAP system. A smoke test on the system revealed that the plastic tube on the fuel pump had snapped off requiring a fuel pump replacement. The fuel pumps are connected by a hose which sits on top of the fuel tank. The connection point at the on the primary fuel pump snapped off. The fuel pump, and tank is mounted above the exhaust system, so it's probably not an ideal situation to have defective parts leaking small amounts of gasoline on top off hot exhaust. Also, after completing repairs my gas mileage improved by 10%. I have saved the defective part incase its needs for failure analysis. *tr
The vehicle shuts off while driving at low speeds mostly it happens when going around curves. I took it to the dealership they were not able to find any problems with it they just said they could replace the 2 fuel pumps for $900 but could not guarantee that would fix the problem. I did not have the pumps changed. When the vehicle shuts off loss of power assist steering is lost and power assist brakes making it dangerous to navigate to a stop to restart it. *tr

Shortly after purchasing this vehicle from the dealer in october 2008, I noticed that the car seemed to lurch when I stepped on the gas from a full stop. I brought it back to the dealer on several occasions, but they did not think there was a problem. In 2009, they went out of business and I took the car to be inspected by another dealership. They found that two engine mounts were broken. Luckily it was covered by the warranty. At my last inspection, it was found that my other two mounts have broken. This I had to pay out of my own pocket, as the warranty expired. I am wondering if I am going to have to keep replacing these every year? Also, is this a fire hazard? Is this a hazard in a car accident? I think Chrysler needs to be held accountable for this problem and come up with a
