TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD F350. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE IN THE EVENING. THE COUNTY INVESTIGATOR STATED THAT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS ELECTRICAL. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. FORD WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT PROVIDE ANY ASSISTANCE. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 15,000.

VEHICLE STARTED RUNNING VERY ROUGH WHEN GOING DOWN THE ROAD, AND HARD TO START. FOUND THE FICM WIRING HARNESS SMOKING AND CHAFED THROUGH WHERE IT HAD RUBBED ON ENGINE.
