2007 mercury marquis with michelin energy lx4 p225-60 r16 tires with 15,000 miles. At 65 MPH felt vibration in front end, I started braking and pulling to shoulder when left front tire exploded. Inspection of tire showed the outside sidewall blewout. I searched the internet and found several other incidents of this reported. This tire is unsafe and should be immediately investigated. I will take pictures for future reference. The car is still under warranty and I will have the tire replaced. I hope people don't have to die before this gets fixed. *tr

Called Walker Ford in Clearwater, FL on 12/27/2025 at 09:35 am. I reported to them that two recalls that would pertain to my car, 13S08 and 13R01 needed to be performed as my steering bearing retainer has failed. They informed me it was repaired, but it has failed again. According to my research, regardless if its been performed or not, Ford is still liable to fix it again. A possible loss of steering could result in death or injury if not addressed. My contact info is [XXX] Thanks! The paint on my 2007 mercury grand marquis started peeling off in march 2009, it is happening around the grill. This is clearly a paint defect, as stated by a local body shop. In order to repair, paint has to be grinded down to bare metal as paint primer did not bond with metal properly. Cost to repaint car is estimated at $300. This same problem was seen in earlier model Ford and mercury vehicles. It is cause by contamination on the aluminum parts before they are painted. A tsb was issued to fix this on the earlier vehicles. *tr

Gas pedal went all the way to the floor and would not release. I kept hitting the pedal to try and release it for about 2 miles. I kept my foot on the brake to try and slow the car down, but that didn't help. The floor mat was not under the pedal because it is too short to reach it. After hitting the pedal as hard as I could numerous times it released. *tr
