I am also one of them that just learned why my 2007 Scion TC is eating the oil. I love this car and wish I would have received the notice about the engine problems back when Toyota may have done something about it. I know that three difference dealerships have my contact info. I will continue to put in a quart of oil each week until that stops helping.

Ive been going thru a lot of oil lately and i dont understand why, i have a friend that owns the same car and told me he was going thru the same thing and took the car to toyota and turns out they had a recall about oil consumption so they ended up rebuilding his engine or replacing it.
