An inflator explosion may result in sharp metal fragments striking the driver or other occupants, resulting in serious injury or death.

The driver airbag has been under recall per letter dated 12/14/21, NHTSA RECALL #21V-800 We scheduled initial repair with dealer upon receipt of notice last December, however, this has not been accomplished and as of 9/23/22 as we are continually told the part needed remains on backorder.
