Takata recall - have been contacting our dealership several times since receiving the recall notice requesting new airbags. The dealership has been responding that the recall is still not required, that the manufacturer was fighting the recall. We have even stated that we would like to pay for the replacements and get a reimbursement later. Have been told that the parts are not available. Are on a waiting list. Since we were just wanting our free replacements, we were not too concerned about the bankruptcy. Had it on our calendar follow up before 2018. Checked the website today, turns out the deadline was the 27th of december. We don't want to be in a lawsuit. We just want our car to be safe. We even asked that our airbags be disconnected until the parts are available

Using remote start caused the heated seats to burn out. There was an odor of electrical burning. The control module under the passenger seat has visible signs of burning or burnt out. This is a very common problem and there should be a recall as this is clearly a fire hazard. Vehicle was stationary and remote start used.
The dashboard has cracked and researching the problem, I found that this is a common problem with gm vehicles my year model and after. The vehicle is garage kept and is not exposed to direct sunlight or extreme cold temperatures.
lighting 2 complaints shown
Lighting we own two escalades from 2008 and have the same exact problem in both cars. Condensation in the headlights and burn them out we were quoted $1,000 for each headlight to fix min!!! Heated seats are out in both trucks rims are pitted and pealing. Have had a problem with the rims weeks after rolling out of the showroom so disappointed
Extremely bright headlights on many newer vehicles cause a hazardous condition for oncoming vehicles. These lights are so bright that they temporarily blind the person on the oncoming lane. This is especially true in rainy conditions. *tr
