I bought my mustang from napleton's in arlington heights,il. I was told that they couldn't give me a car fax because they were running low on paper. I just received a recall in the mail from 2016 about airbag. I'm not sure if what the carfax is on my car because they told me to get one off the internet not knowing I'd have to pay for it. There was no disclosure that this mustang had a recall that can cause serious injuries or death. I need help I don't know what to do. Takata recall. I have received a letter from Ford advising to not allow anyone is sit in the first row passenger seat causing injury or death. What good is a car if you cant use the front passenger seat?

Driver airbag inflator replacement. I called Ford directly in august 2015 to find out when I could schedule my car for repair and was told in q3 of 2015 I would be notified. I have not received any notification. On december 22, 2015 I called Ford again for status and was told they had no time estimate on when the repair would be completed only that I would receive a first class letter. I asked if anyone at Ford could estimate the time of repair and was told no. I said that they must be receiving a steady stream of replacement parts and I considered this a dangerous even life threatening problem and was told no one could tell me when the repair would be completed.

Takata recall - this recall was initiated on june 1, 2016 which is now well over a year ago. We have tried that entire time to have this fixed, but the dealers tell us the parts are not yet available. Since this causes death, I am very concerned with driving this car and the possibility of the airbag deploying and killing someone needlessly. I don't understand why the recall does not have a remedy for it when other cars have a safe deplolyment. Why can't the takata recall replace the current airbag with one that is installed on other makes and models to ensure a safe drive? This recall should be a priority!

None of the air bags deployed. He suffered minor injuries to his head, neck, and back. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealership. The current and failure mileages were 22000. Takata recall --I received a passenger airbag recall on my 2008 Ford mustang in july 2016. So far no response. How mush longer do have to wait. My wife has survived 2 bouts of cancer. Takata recall - I have tried on several occasions to have the passenger side airbag recall performed at autonation Ford, sanford, fl. They keep telling me that they have to order the part. I keep checking back and they keep telling me that they still have to order the part. Most times no one answers the service line at autonation Ford. Battery goes dead when sitting for a week when not driven. When I charge the battery and hook up the terminals and turn on the ignition with key the radio comes on and I know it was shut off before shutting car down.I always shut off radio before shutting off the car.I have seen reports of shutting radio off first then car ignition.Any idea what to look for.

I was driving home one evening when stopped at a traffic signal,my mustang throttle for unknown reasons the accelerator was stuck on the floor and remained wide open for approxaimately 1.5 miiles before I wa able to stop my vehiclesa, without injuries or death to myself and the public. This happened again with this vehicle tonite with my son driving . He stated the throttle/accelerator had stuck wide openwith the accelerator on the floor. As he was unable to shut the vehicle off . This seems to be a large issue wityh Ford vehicles only to find no recalls but with one make the escape. The vehicle is a danger to public safety abroad for you never know when thids will happen. I was in rush hour traffic and am grateful by blowing the horn and the ability to think quick no one was killedb.

The gas pedal will be stuck accelerating, and will not stop. The mat was not even on the floor when the incidents occurred. Driving down interstate and also a back road, hit the break does not stop or disengage the vehicle; tap pedal does not disengage speeds up more and remains stuck. The contact stated that after installing aftermarket floor mats, the floor mat became lodged between the accelerator pedal and the floorboard, causing the vehicle to erroneously accelerate. When there is rain the water pours into the passenger side front floor area. This has happened with my 2008 and 2005 Ford mustangs. The dealer checked the seals and they were fine. Driving or stationary. Street and highway. Straight or turning. Unknown.

I have a 2008 Ford Mustang with a V-6 engine. Recently I had to jump start it twice in a week's time to get it started and decided to take it to my dealer to have the battery checked. On the way there, I had to stop for a line of line of traffic at a red light. The instant I applied the brakes the engine started racing. I stood on the brakes as hard as I could, but could not bring the car to a complete stop. I got it slowed down to about three MPH, steered it into a parking lot that was next to me, and shoved it into park. I was afraid to drive it, so I called AAA and had it towed to my dealer. My paint located near my hood pins is bubbling due to oxidation/rust mainly, from what I have read, is due to the wrong part. Ford or shelby have denied my multiple requests, even wiring warranty dates, to resolve this issue. Multiple 07-08 mustang shelby gt's have this same issue and neither company can provide a solution or deal with this issue. I brought the 2008 mustang in oct21 2008 and it has ticked since I called harr Ford and I tried to talk to the sales person harr Ford went out of business I called Ford and talked to a variety of customer service people I have brought it two dealers the sales manager from drum hill Ford was the first to hear the noise he felt it had a problem but the people from Ford felt he was not qualified the other people I heard told me it is normal to tick like that I have driven several mustangs I went to action Ford posing as a buyer and found a 2008 mustang that we were the first ones to start it up it does not tick I went online to the mustang forums and they say it could be a bearing issue Ford must know about this issue. *tr
