Takata recall. Front passenger seat has been unusable since a july, 2016 notice from Honda stating that the front passenger seat should not be occupied until the airbag has been replaced. Planet Honda in lakewood colorado ordered both front airbags on 7/6/16 since I had not been notified from Honda that parts were available. I finally received notice from the dealer that parts were in and the dealer installed the driver's side bag on 9/17/16, but informed me that the passenger-side airbag had not arrived, but still on order. I have checked with the dealer two times, and been informed that the parts are still unavailable. This delay is causing great inconvenience in my family because of lack of passenger capacity. I get the feeling that Honda is not complying with this recall in a timely fa

My 2008 Honda ridgeline truck is in very good shape, garage kept, well maintained, with only 72k mi. We were driving under the speed limit on I-83n from de to pa, during the rainy night of nov. 18,2015. We heard a flap-rip sound, and thought it was the (after market) bed cover flapping at the cab corner, because a cover clip had weakened there during this highway drive from ga to pa, allowing the cover to flap in wind, and needed refastening whenever we stopped for gas. It was the next morning in the light when we realized the entire cab top-rear panel (break light, wiring & all) had dislodged completely off the truck, and decided this was probably the ripping sound we heard on I-83 the night before, though we did not know at the time, and pray no danger resulted behind us. We took the

I drive my 2008 ridgeline on a daily basis. In the morning of the 18th of december my heat and air worked fine. Later in the evening I went to go out and my fan/heat/air would not work. I changed a few fuses but still got nothing. I took the truck to my dealer where I get all of my repairs and maintenance done. They stated it was more than likely a relay since the motor was working properly. I received a call today that the problem is a wiring harness that melted and then she tells me its a 9 hour job to replace and costs over 600.00 dollars. Well it looks like the 2006,and 2007 ridgelines have the same problem and I think Honda needs to be persuaded to include the 2008 models before someone gets hurt. I have read online that this is not an uncommon problem and has happened to seve

2008 ridgeline...I have taken it to the dealer on 2 occasions reporting the I can push the brake pedal to the floor. After stopping at a traffic light and with light pressure on the brake pedal I am able to push the pedal right to the floor boards. In a snow storm as the windshield wipers were working snow started to build up in the space between the hood and the windshield as the wipers pushed it down. The space filled with packed snow from the wipers packing it down. At the point when the space was full the windshield wipers stopped working and would not start again until the snow was cleaned out by hand. Once cleared the snow started to build up again followed by the wipers stopping again, and again and again. This was the first snow storm in this truck. *tr

The contact owns a 2008 Honda Ridgeline. The contact stated that when he entered his driveway at a slow speed, there was an abnormally loud sound coming from the rear end of the vehicle. Upon inspection, the contact saw that the rear subframe had detached from the vehicle without warning. The contact also discovered severe corrosion on the frame and subframe which he linked to the failure. The contact had the vehicle towed to an independent mechanic where he was informed that he was uncertain if the vehicle could be repaired due to the amount of rust on the vehicle. Just driving along @ 20mph the transmission started to hesitate then start slipping. Lucky enough to limp home 1 mile away from where it started. Transmission fluid was pouring out of the radiator overflow container. I had no transmission fluid showing on dipstick. Engine oil was normal. I replaced the radiator as I saw countless people online with same issue. The trans line inside the radiator ruptured putting into circulation the coolant/trans fluid mixture throughout the engine and heater core. Fortunately this trans fluid mixture was not being sucked back into the transmission, purely a miracle in this case. This is an issue that is a fault in engineering, and not "if" this will happen to your vehicle is a matter of when. This car has 140k on it and has been meticulously maintained,
