Is there a fix? Manufacturer service bulletins
The manufacturer has issued service bulletins covering fuel system on this vehicle — documented repair instructions, service campaigns, or warranty extensions sent to dealers. A TSB isn't a recall (it's not a free safety remedy), but it's the manufacturer acknowledging the issue and how to fix it.
SOME VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT A SLOW FUEL FILL CONCERN DURING WINTER/FREEZING CONDITIONS, OR A MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LAMP (MIL) ON WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) P0451 PRESENT. MAY BE CAUSED BY WATER/MOISTURE ENTERING THE FUEL FILLER VENT LINE, THEN FREEZING. UPDATED 6/2/08.

What owners are reporting 1 most recent
2008 Mazda tribute, approx, 72,000 miles. The gas pedal sticks in cold weather. We live in the baton rouge area so it doesn't get cold often, but the last few day's we've had lows in the 20's and the gas pedal has a sticking issue. It's hard to press and when it finally does the vehicle lunges forward. We had this same issue last year when it also got abnormally cold for this area. *tr
