Takata recall. I have contacted classic Audi dealer in eastchester, ny several times by phone, email, and chat. They have been unresponsive. To date I have not been offered an appointment to replace both airbags. I called the Audi advocate in michigan, and she promised to help by contacting classic Audi and provide me with information about when classic Audi will schedule an appointment. This is taking too long.

I have called jacksonville fl Audi dealership several times because I received a notice that my air bags are bad. They keep telling me they don't have a replacement for it? I don't like the idea of driving the car with faulty air bags. Can you assist in getting me the airbags replaced asap? *tr

Takata recall. Why is it taking takata so long to get an airbag to Audi? My car is 7 years old and drivers side airbag is part of this recall. Takata should be working with other manufacturers involved to meet demand. This is a critical item that you expect to save your life, not take it. Seriously they need to get on the ball here.

Takata recall I have been informed by mail, for several years now, that the airbags in my car needs to be replaced due to the recall. The passenger side has been replaced, yet the driver side airbag has not. I am constantly after my dealership to inform me as to the time frame for replacement, but they never have any information. This has been ongoing now for several years. Can anything be done to speed up the process.

This past fall, Audi replaced my pistons and rings due to a failed oil consumption test. My car would require oil after about 250 miles. Within a week of changing the oil at Audi I received a warning light. Audi at that time decided to replace my pistons and rings. On 12/29 while driving on the highway my car starting rattling very loud and I wasn't able to accelerate. All of a sudden my car stopped running, gray smoke came out of the rear tailpipe and my car turned off. I managed to get over to the shoulder and it looked as if oil has leaked all over the right tire by the passenger side. I had the car towed back to Audi for service. They are now telling me it will cost $5000 to fix the car. I feel the since they last worked on the engine they should be responsible for the damage

I been doing a lot of research and I seen that there are many vehicles that the "add 1 quart of oil light to keep driving" light comes out. Many have said is a pistons problem that need to be recalled by Audi. The light warning comes out randomly every month. There are no leaks in my vehicle. I have two buy 3 bottles in oil every month. The light comes on when I'm driving. *tr

I own a 2009 Audi a4 with 63,000 miles. The Audi dealer change the pistons and rings in my vehicle due to an oil consumption problem two weeks ago. On november 4, 2014 my check engine light comes on and the car is idling up and down constantly when at a stand still. The service department informed me that the intake manifold failed internally and wants to charge $935 plus tax to repair. Under second opinion I was informed that this is a part is highly unlikely to fail and should have been inspected with the piston repair work was completed. Dealer claimed that they road tested the vehicle and everything seem fine. Contacted Audi usa to see if they will help, I have been a customer of Audi for 13 years. *tr

12/28/2021 ODI #11445328.0

On Sunday December 19, 2021, while driving home the warning light for the battery/alternator flashed on with an associated beep warning. An estimated 30 miles later all electrical and motor functions died while I was in heavy traffic. I was able to pull off onto a narrow shoulder up a steep hill and park. All functions quit, I could not come out of "Park", the emergency brake switch would not release, the emergency flashers did not function. Nothing responded. I called AAA Towing service to be taken to an Audi service repair shop. The towing service had to use a jumper to provide electrical power to release the emergency brake and take the transmission out of "park." The repair service was the "Sport Hous Reno" where the alternator and the battery were replaced. Invoice # 4791, 12-21-202

The windshield wiper blades on my car are horrible. They're very flimsy and thin. They don't do a good job of cleaning up the windshield in rain, and if there is any snow or ice.. They get stuck on the bumps and miss the glass. The wiper blades are "stored" in a pit under the windshield to protect them from the snow and ice... Except the pit just fills with the ice and snow and covers them.. So they are beyond useless now. The defogger on high blast makes the windshield a little better.. But it cant warm the blades.. So they will still keep getting iced up and just scraping across the windshield not doing anything. *tr

OEM wipers provided by Audi on 2008.5 a4 model year onwards fill with water/slush and freeze solid in the winter rendering them useless and creating significant driving hazard. Audi has no replacement and is non-responsive. Further, there are no third-party replacement winter-style blades because it is a proprietary blade-arm connector. *tr
