The seat foam is poor quality - the seat frame cut through the foam and I can now feel it on my back and bottom seat. While the vehicle was under warranty Nissan replaced the back seat foam two or three times due to the frame pushing through the foam. Now that the vehicle is no longer under warranty and unless I want to spend a $1,000+ to replace the seat I am stuck with the pleasure of feeling the metal frame pushing into me in while driving vice the comfort of the cushions that should be between the seat frame and me. I doubt it is safe to have such little cushion between me and the seat frame in the event of an accident.

Noticed a small fluid leak under my car, it looked like radiator fluid. I took the vehicle to my local Nissan dealer to check it out. When the Nissan technicians investigated the leak they informed me the leak was from the seams of the radiator and the radiator required replacement. I was told that this is common and routine wear and tear for Nissan. The 2009 titan has just over 41,000 miles and is only driven on paved roads. It has no off-road mileage. I do not believe a properly designed radiator should leak from the seams after 6 years and low mileage.

I received a recall notice for my 2009 Nissan Titan. I have brought the truck to Premier Nissan, 6636 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA on multiple occasions to have the work performed without success. I last brought the truck in March 07, 2024, at which time I was told that the airbag emblem needed to be replaced. [XXX] . The part was supposed to be ordered and in within two weeks. I called Premier Nissan several times since March 07, 2024, without resolution. I called today, August 08, 2024, and was told that the dealership records did not even indicate that the part had been ordered. Additionally, to add further insult, I was told that the truck must again be brought in for another inspection despite the fact that it had been inspected and found defective on March 07, 2024. I noticed that there was a serious vibration coming from the rear end of my 2007 Nissan titan. I though that it might be an out of balance tire. I took my truck to firestone where they noticed my passenger side rear axle output seal was leaking. I went a couple of weeks and decoded to check the fluid level of my rear differential and had to add 1 quart(out of 2 quarts). The drain plug is magnetic and I noticed that there was alot of metal attached to it. About a month later the noise was getting more pronounced and started to shake the whole truck. I decided to take the truck to the Nissan service dept and have it checked out. The service manager called me and I went to see the outcome. He informed me that my driveshaft was binding do to a faulty differential and that they would have to ha

Headlamp unit failure on this vehicle. Water intrusion into the unit causing moisture buildup with resulting cloudiness, calcium like etching, and spider web-like cracking of the plastic lens. Poor uv sun blocking ability of the plastic lens to retard yellowing & clouding. These defects in the headlamp unit construction present a safety hazard issue at night as it reduces the effectiveness and ability to project light beam at levels necessary for clear visual field. This vehicle has incurred complete headlamp unit assembly replacements to both driver & passenger sides twice since vehicle placed into new service in 2009. It appears the cheap plastic lens covers used in manufacturing is the culprit. Use of glass for lens would eleminate these problems as glass does not deteriorate with

Though we did not know it at the time, the fuel vapor emissions control unit had a small fire into the charcoal chamber and the solenoid switch. This attaches to the gas tank so when we saw it, we were horrified. I have saved the unit and had it replaced. Nissan dealer said there was no recall on it, but the new unit was built somewhat differently. Also have pictures if you would like. *js
