The car door locks, or door lock actuators, have failed multiple times ( each door at least twice) in five years. The car is now eight years old and all the actuators have failed again. The safety issue arises when the door should automatically lock after reaching 10mph, but they do not due to actuators failing to lock door. This could cause the doors to open if involved in crash. Both rear main brake lights have failed. Fuse replaced and lightbulbs still does not work. Internet seems to point to wiring under the drivers side, before the fusebox. Safety issue. The third brake light does work.

The key has a chip in it that controls the ignition. It also has a spring in it that allows you to fold the key into the fob. I have two times had that spring wear out and break.
