1 my driver side seat beat will not latch no matter what I have done does it moving or sitting still just will not latch. 2 the read out on my dash say's engine power reduced at times this will come on when started and stay on for short and extended times please help a senior and don't know where to turn
Reduced engine power lights came, on traction control light came, on it was hard to accelerate in the middle of a highway, car almost shut down, but I made it home. It has happened twice on the highway and turnpike. I thought it was oil but that wasn't the issue. It stops (the problems) after I shut the car off for an evening, but I'm scared it will power down while on the highway again. When this issue happens the car beeps, then the traction light comes on with warning and so does the engine light and reduced engine power warning. Always in motion, especially higher speeds than normal city streets. Such as turnpike and highway.
I have had my 2010 Chevrolet impala ls for about one year now. It currently has 164,000 miles. The following problem started happening about 6 months after I bought it, during the winter months. While driving at any speed in any kind of weather (but happens more often in cold weather) two lights pop up, the check engine light and the stability track light. I also get three display messages, service stabiltrack, service traction control and engine power is reduced. Half of the times that this occurs my car literally shuts off while driving and a different message is displayed stating engine power shutting down. I lose all control of vehicle, power steering, gas etc. This only happens when going at high speeds ,which is even more dangerous. I turn the car off, if I immediately try to turn it
The 2010 impala was at hwy speeds at approx 65mph. The traction control light came on and the check engine light and the message display was flashing traction control failure. The lights stayed on. It also said engine at reduced speeds . The traction control failed at hwy speeds which left me coasting to reduced speeds and then the car shut off at 20 MPH with no power steering or braking. I was able to coast off the highway into a parking lot off the service road. *tr

Air bag check light goes off and on. While driving on local or highway roads the lights will flash and the check air bag light will be displayed or if already displayed will turn off. This has been happening for over a month now!
Tl* the contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet impala. When occupying the passenger front seat, the air bag warning light illuminates on the instrument control panel. The technicians at the dealer were not able to identify the cause of the failure. The manufacturer took a report. The manufacturer will send a district supervisor to the dealer to further investigate the failure. The failure mileage was 500. The current mileage was 2,500.
Passenger airbag turns on with no passenger in seat. Seatbelt chime goes off while driving because of it.

I have had 3 special coverage orders letters in the pass year on my car. !. Stabilitrak light tc. 2.harnessthrottle body. 3. Ignition key.I'm also having problem with my suspension .and power steering.I call gm and have taken my car in for by gm require and the services repair men said they couldn't find no codes on their scann.
2010 Chevrolet impala. Consumer states there's a big safety problem with his brakes and steering when driving down long hills. *ta the consumer had no control over the steering. Also, the rotors were replaced. *jb
there is a known issue with the shift lock release. the cable will fail in many 2006-2013 impala's. the vehicle will not get out of park. another well known issue is the blend door actuator. it is a noise that comes from the dash/heating/cooling due to chevy using cheap plastic parts.
My 2010 Chevrolet impala has only 43, 279 miles and began making a loud high pitched screeching noise while accelerating. After two visits to two separate mechanics it was determined both times that a new power steering pump was needed. Both mechanics were in shock due to the failure as the amount of miles on the car. I contacted gm customer care as I was sure this was still under warranty. Much to my surprise this is not under warranty. I have had this car 1 year and 3 months and for this to fail I am not a happy Chevrolet owner. Gm told me I could have it repaired and then wait for them to make a decision on whether I 'qualified' for assistance. In this economy and at this time of the year who has time to pay up front and wait for them to make a decision. *tr

2010 Chevrolet impala ignition design issue cw the consumer stated the modification was done in a timely and cost-free manner. However, the solution did not address the mechanical issue of the ignition design. *jb
My 2010 Chevrolet impala ignition key is stuck in the ignition, I did get the key fixed under the NHTSA campaign number 14v355000 from a qualified Chevrolet repair center. From what I understand, this has become an ever increasing problem. This needs to be a recall. I will be contacting gm corp. Along with the NHTSA and will follow up with the information or (excuses) of why this is somehow my problem. This car has only 40,000 miles. It's funny how gm is not simply replacing all ignitions with new keys. This is dangerous and I for one will not let this rest until I'm satisfied, my wife drives this car and unlike gm corp. Safety is my number one concern.I'm not a mechanic but I do all general maintenance on our cars and this pisses me off. If noise needs to be made to resolve this, then no

While driving my impala, with no warning, my car lost power. The dash beeped at me and said reduced engine power, service stalinktrak, service traction control. I had to turn my car off, I waited a few minutes then turned car back on. The car was able to run and drive after this, but my check engine light was on. I had vehicle computer scanned and had a code for throttle position sensor. After further research, I have learned I will need to replace the whole throttle body. My car has now lost power several times and my RPM gauge 'bounces'. I will be parking my car until the part comes in. This was very dangerous as you lose all power with no warning going down the expressway. *tr
