2010 Chevrolet Tahoe owner complaints

Dash board cracked for 3rd time on drivers side. Gm will not cover now as its out of warranty. Drivers side motor mount broken. Known issue

The dash board in the vehicle has 2 cracks in it. Could be a safety hazard involving the airbags. One crack is located at the curve of the instrument panel on the gear selector side and the other is located on the passenger side. I recently purchased the vehicle and the cracks were already there. I know that this is a popular problem and I believe that gm has profited greatly from the sales of these vehicles and should take responsibility for the integrity of their product. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet tahoe. The contact stated that the passenger side dashboard by the air bag was fractured. The contact also noticed a fracture on the driver's side dashboard of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer to be inspected, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 72,000.

Dashboard has major cracks and it feels like one day, some piece will break off and hurt someone while driving and it cause major crash. It started with a small crack and it is though end to end now. *tr

Cracked dash- I found the dash of my 2010 tahoe cracked by the passenger air bag and above the instrument cluster. Upon doing research I found that numerous other Chevy owners are experiencing the same issue and gm continues to deny that it is an issue with their vehicles and do a recall even though they all crack in the same areas.

The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called a local dealer (rosner Chevrolet, 800 s. Harbor city blvd, melbourne, fl 32901) and was informed that the parts were not available. The manufacturer was notified and opened case number: 8-3706672247. No further assistance was provided. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Tried to get takata airbags replaced, and dealership refuses to help.

Takata recall I was notified in july 2016 that my vehicle was involved in this recall. I have called Chevrolet several times over the last year and 5 months and they do not have the parts to repair it. I received a notice from tk holdings inc, that notifies me that they have filed chapter 11 bankruptcy. Who is responsible for repairing my airbag? The vehicle is obviously not safe to drive if you are in an accident. I am unable to sale my vehicle until the airbag is repaired.

Takata recall - no remedy has been established by the manufacturer. I verified that my car was involved in the takata airbag recall and found an authorized dealer. I contacted the dealership (hendrix Chevrolet in hoover, al _ and scheduled a service appointment. Upon arrival I was told that they could not repair the airbag because the manufacturer had not determined a course of remedy.

Dashboard cracked by the odometer and the passenger side airbag. This occurred while the vehicle was sitting at a red light.

The dash is busted in two places, one by the passenger side and a large crack on the drivers side stretching all the way up.

The dashboard of my Chevy tahoe has become cracked in multiple places. One of the cracks goes from the windshield to the front of the dashboard. The cracks seem like a safety hazard specifically in the event of a car accident. In a car accident the cracks may impede the operation of the airbags or allow portions of the dashboard to more easily become projectiles which could cause injury to myself or passengers in my vehicle.

While driving in town or highway , door locks began popping up and down, dash gauges were going crazy and car began to be lose total electrical power. Engine cut out and died and almost rear ended by semi-truck. This issue has happened 20 plus times over the past 6 months and several times times this week driving in town and also on interstate 44 in missouri. The gm service technician does not know what the problem is or the cause. This issue is happening country wide to owners of Chevy tahoe's. This vehicle is now to dangerous to drive. My tahoe has 71,212 miles on it. Can you please look into this issue?

After heavy rain I noticed that both of my back doors sounded like there was a gallon of water inside of them. I read that this is a very common issue! I can only imagine the amount of rusting happening inside of there as well as electrical damage & risks of having wet speakers & wiring inside the door. Unacceptable. This should be a recall.

Transmission failure knocking and pinging would not go in reverse would only go 10 mph. Vehicle has never been abused only has 128,428 miles.

Factory aluminum wheels are being corroded by de icing liquid to the point that tires will not hold air pressure. *tr

The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, he smelled an abnormal gasoline odor inside the vehicle. After a visual inspection of the vehicle, the contact observed an excessive fuel leak around the fuel tank. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 142,000.

The dash is cracked all over and cracked at airbag. Also, suspension had a popping noise and has been fixed and still making noise.
