Head on collision going 45mph. Car pulled out of intersection into path of our 2010 Dodge dakota and stopped. Applied brakes and hit head on. Driver airbag did not deploy. *tr
Warning lite for air bag deployment stays on. In shop for two weeks at this time and the auto tech and factory tech have no idea how what to repair. Wires from the dash, console, door panels (factory wire loom) are open for tracing. Dodge did not send out the proper wire schematic for the 2010 Ram. Last report was that they are guessing at a repair. *tr

While driving home 10/20 ~8pm, I was slowing down in freeway traffic ~45mph. I took my foot off the brake and was just about to press down on the accelerator pedal, my truck surged forward for about .25 of a second (split second). This has happened in the past ~8 times. I notified the dealer at 26,000 mile service and they said it was the engines switching between the eco mode and normal mode. (5.7 hemi). Please advise. steering 1 complaint shown
Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6) city of ottawa has four (4) Dodge Ram 5500 units, bought in march 2010 with VIN numbers listed below, all have been plagued with steering problems which drifts at speeds over 70 kmh and is difficult to control when facing consecutive small bumps - so much that in my test ride I was afraid I could end up in the opposite lane of traffic and cause a head-on collision. My personal concern is that if new or inexperienced drivers face such steering, it could cause accident, damage or even fatality if it goes unchecked. Unfortunately the dealerships (southbank and capital Dodge) seem to have very little knowledge of the root cause and no capacity to do real analysis and testing on these units. Chry
