Takata recall - Ford is unwilling to provide reasonable interim solutions regarding takata airbags. I have been told to not place anyone in the passenger seat until parts are available hopefully in spring 2018. This is not acceptable as the vehicle's intended purpose is to transport multiple passengers with use of the main front passenger seat. I have asked for a loaner vehicle, compensation to obtain a rental, or an interim repair until the parts are located. I was told that none of those options are available and that I should avoid using the seat. Additionally, the information provided in the recall notice is contradictory to the recall information on the Ford website. The website states that per technical information, the vehicle is safe to drive until repair. The recall letter sates o

Takata recall. I received a recall in the mail in june 2016 and took my car to southwest Ford to repair. They said that they did not have the parts and would contact me when they came in, never heard from them. I called back in early 2017 and they said takata was under bankruptcy and don't know if they will get any parts. My car is still not repaired and could be a danger to me or my kids. I received a letter from Ford july 2016.

Takata recall - it is not safe to drive with my family in my car with a defective airbag. Therefore, the vehicle I purchased is not functional as advertised. Ford refuses to offer a loaner vehicle. And now, I have been informed that the delay in a replacement air bag will continue into the spring of 2018. This is not ok. Other manufacturers are offering loaner vehicles. Ford should as well. Not acceptable!!

Takata recall. Please advise the time limit for Ford to replace these airbags. Notified july 2016, have called numerous times, just advised they still do not have a solution except to not carry passengers in front seat. Wonder why Dodge is replacing them daily, but Ford still doesn't even have a solution.

Called Ford customer service at 800-392-3673 and described my problem as follows...brakes started sounding like air was leaking out, but brakes continued to work. Today, I was sitting at a traffic light and the car kept surging forward, even with my foot on the brake. This is extremely dangerous. Was told by Ford that this was a VIN specific incident and my vehicle would not be covered. ???????? *tr

On 12/11/17 my brakes were making a air sound when I touched peddle. At 47,000 miles I assumed it was time to replace. On 12/15 I had brakes replaced, but when I got the car back it still had the air sound. The brakes work but sometimes the peddle goes all the way down and catches at last minute. Now I'm told Ford edge has a problem with brake boosters and main cylinder. There hasn't been a recall yet, but I am sure people don't notify anyone about this problem. The garage just sent me on my way knowing the problem and also knowing the brakes could fail! I will be taking my vehicle to an authorized Ford dealer to see what they can do. This is just to inform you of the serious problem which could cause accidents or even deaths.

Sudden, unintended acceleration of my 2010 Ford edge vehicle: I turned into my house driveway at approximately 5 to 10 miles/hour speed. As soon as I turned into my driveway, the car suddenly and unintentionally accelerated. I could not control the car. I swerved to avoid my garage, but ended up damaging badly one garage door and the outer corner of my garage wall. The car then crashed against a tree in my lawn and came to a stop. There was bad damage to the front of the car. I was the only one in the car. I was not hurt. There was no injury to anyone else. I called in the police. When the officer asked me what happened, I told him that I might have accelerated the car in error, but I was not sure if there was an electronic problem with the car. In the month preceding the accident, on

High pitch noise coming from interior of vehicle. Highly audible outside of vehicle. Most prominent around the rear driver side wheel well. Source seems to be from fuel pump. The dealership in bentonville, arkansas has replaced the fuel pump twice to no avail. Have contacted Ford customer relations without much success. There seems to be some type of systemic denial that the problem exists. Comments received were "it's normal for the vehicle or it's a characteristic of the vehicle." if true then we no longer to issue recalls on vehicle. We can simply say the above. Please google "fuel pump in Ford edge or high pitch noise in Ford edge". There seems to be a lot a chatter going back a number of years. This is not an isolated incident. Sustained interior exposure to this noise r
