Takata inflators my local Ford dealership matthews currie , venice fl eventually replaced the driver side only after some waiting time. They have not completed the replacement of the passenger side. The climate in florida should be giving priority to access the parts. The dealership always say the parts are not available.
Takata recall-the Ford dealer says that they don't have the parts to repair the safety recall 15s21 as yet. The recall notice states that "an inflator rupture could result in metal fragments striking the driver or occupant resulting in serious injury or death". So, I have to just drive around with an airbag that could kill me or my occupant while Ford works on a replacement part? The letter is dated july 2015 and here it is december. Seems like something should be done to get them to speed it up a little.

Takata recall I attempted to trade in my 2010 Ford mustang and the dealer was offering me 4k less for my trade because of the recall the dealer stated that they cannot resell the car because their is no remedy for the recall. There is currently no remedy for the passenger side takata air bag recall and I can not trade my vehicle in because 4k less for my trade is putting me too far out of equity on my vehicle. Since their is no remedy for the recall and I am unable to trade in the vehicle because of the recall, I am being forced to drive in an unsafe vehicle.

Was pulling into parking spot at church and the car surged forward and hit a concrete wall. Foot was on the brake pedal coming to a stop; was going slowly when the car suddenly lunged forward. The bumper and hood were damaged and will need to be replaced. Took to Ford dealership to run diagnostic, but they said all codes were "within specs". This was the first experience with surge. Neck a little stiff and son hurt elbow (but is ok). Now will have car body repaired and hope this doesn't happen again. Scary. *tr

LED use is missing the appropriate level of rigger for correct human factors! The operating frequencies of pwm (pulse width modulation) LED's (light emitting diode) is to low for some viewers! This is a very real condition known as flicker fusion or critical fusion frequency and does not have the same effect on all viewers. The lamps look as if they are all over the roadway and completely out of control! It is just about impossible to drive at night due to this!!!! All manufactures using LED's or other fast response lamps need to consider human factors, the operating frequency is critical and needs to be over 3000 hertz (cycles per second). This lack of control has put probable 10% of the drivers and pilots are at risk! A recall is needed to fix this travesty that is out of contr
