There is a recall as the airbags are dangerous and you have not authorized the work to be done and if states you do not have the parts to do the necessary correction. When can this recall be corrected ????
Dash is cracked scared that sharp objects may fly into my family face if air bags are deployed the truck lost all power and left me and my daughter stranded right in the middle of traffic about got hit thank God we didn't GM needs to take care of these matters and take it seriously people could be seriously hurt or killed And if I hit a bump my cruise control will shut off automatically as if i pushed the button but i never touched anything
1. Cracked dashboard - cracked dashboard - dashboard is deteriorating. Numerous cracks. Vehicle is parked in the shade 90% of the time and after 30,000 miles on it. It has never been in any accident. There is a dashboard crack next to the airbag on the dashboard. My concern is with the takata inflators and potential shrapnel produced from the rotting dashboard becoming airborne during an accident. There is a website that shows the majority of these gm dashboards are defective and falling apart beyond cosmetic appearance. What kind of safety testing has been done in relation to cracked dashboards causing injuries? 2. Takata recall - there should be a solution to the takata inflator issue and a recall on gm cracked plastic dashboards. It is past august of 2017 and I have heard nothing rega
Cracks in dash that could effect airbag deployment and/ or send pieces of the dash flying towards me in the event of a crash.
Taka recall 7/6/16, to date no part to resolve. Over one year and GMC has no part to fix the recall. Called 11/21/2017 and no part available.
My airbags are potentially deady, but the NHTSA is allowing GMC to skirt the recall. Guess money and influence is more important than mine and my family's lives.

Upper dash around passenger airbag is cracked, apparently from online information a common and wide spread problem. Crack in dash is a safety concern if airbag deploys. Possible fragments from dash will injure passengers or others in vehicle should airbag deploy

Dash is cracking in two places and near the air bag compartment. No trauma caused the cracking and no armor all or like products have ever been used on the vehicle in any area
The dash has cracked in two places, with no undo abuse.
Dash has cracked above speedometer area from window to the steering wheel. Another dangerous crack against passenger air bag. Feel unsafe letting people ride in the front set because of it.
2 large cracks on dash board near the airbag storage on both right and left side
Cracked dash, I believe it's a safety issue. If I were involved in an accident I feel it would cause shrapnel to be fly everywhere. Very sharp plastic would fly as any passenger especially if the faulty air bags went off.
While driving the "reduced engine power" alert popped up and the engine had no power. The car started to jump. Along with the "reduced engine power" alert there was also a "stabilitrak indicator light" that also came on. We pulled over and shut the engine off waited a few minutes and restarted it. On tuesday 10/12 the same thing happened again while driving. Thankfully, we were on our street and got it back to the driveway without any incidents. *tr
