Was slowing to turn in shopping plaza lose power steering almost ran women over cross drive way car would not steer without much force this is dangerous how many must die before Ford fixes this do they remember gas tanks ? My next call is to 60 minutes .

When I am driving turning the wheel it make a loud clicking sound

Original owner: the vehicle would was parked without issue yesterday. Backed it up this morning and there was no power steering. Shut it off and tried again and there was still no power steering. On the third attempt, the power steering returned and I very cautiously drove it to the dealership. There were no error messages displayed or warnings while it was out. (change oil reminder was lit). Dealership ran diagnostics and tried to recreate the issue without problems. This vehicle was built in the kansas city plant during the time of the recall from oct 2014, but for some reason, the VIN is not included. Authorized Ford dealership recommended "based on concern only" to "replace the elec. Steering torque sensor and recalibration." I don't feel safe driving this or selling to someone else,

When accelerating through an intersection, my vehicle lost acceleration power and the power brakes failed. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle was slowly moved to a side street, backing-up traffic on the busy street. The vehicle was towed to a Ford dealership and the diagnosis was that throttle body needed replacing. The service cost me $503 plus tax. *tr

Driving from columbus to cincinnati around 1:00 am with my daughter, son and 15 month old granddaughter. The car lost all power leaving us stranded on the side of the road. Was driving on the freeway going about 70 when I lost all power to accelerate. I noted the wrench symbol also had just came on. I was able to pull over to the shoulder and turn my car off. Before it turned off the car shook quite a bit. I let the car sit for about a minute re-started and noted the wrench was gone and I could accelerate. Later that day it happened to me again. I was leaving work and driving down the highway and my power steering went out but then it came back and it kept doing it off and on . Luckily I only live 15 miles from work. The vehicle shut off while driving. This re-occurred several times during the next 8 days also while driving, one time while making a left hand turn across oncoming traffic. We researched the problem and had two estimates done and contacted Ford motor company. The throttle body had to be replaced and the repair cost us $400.00 dollars. We have researched this problem and have seen that this is a very common safety problem. We spoke with our neighbors who have a Ford escape and already had their throttle body replaced as well for the same problem. We were told by the dealership that the new part is designed differently now, so this should not happen to us again. This has to be a recall item. Returning home from work, wife in front of me. Center high stop light had some bad bulbs. Removed assembly, found melted reflector and broken bulbs. Took many photos. Informed local dealership by email. Told them u/w. Part arrived 1 week later, picked up on saturday morning, had to pay $90.41. I badgered dealership for reimbursement, finally got check at end of december. Still have pics and part. *tr

VIN in this form would not let me add the 17th digit. The 17th digit is a 6. I shut rear door of mercury mariner and rear window shattered-exploded into little pieces no larger and 1 inch. Temperature 40 degrees. Cloudy. No one was injured. Shattered pieces fell onto a parking lot.
