My daughter has a corolla and it has a recall notice for the airbag of the passengers side, but there has been no solution since it's discovery and public notice of march 2016. I sent a request to Toyota and still waiting for their response. Why would this be an acceptable practice to put innocent lives in danger.

On 11/10/2014 , we had our recall regarding our 2010 Corolla airbags corrected at our dealership with the replacement of the sub-assembly spiral cable. Our mileage at the time was 27382 miles. Just recently at 58,000 miles we have to pay $775 to replace that same spiral cable. This seems somewhat financially onerous since this is obviously not a wear and tear item , but one crucial to the vehicle's innate safety and one that does not appear to hold up well. I do not believe vehicle owners should be required to subsidize Toyota's defective equipment.

Takata recall. Hello, I got the interim notice on this quite a few months ago. I just contacted Toyota of poway to see what's going on and they told me it is still in the interim letter stage. What the heck is going on? You would think they would make the safety of their customers a priority. How can this process go faster? I don't recall when exactly I received the notice, there isn't a date on it so I will just give a guesstimation.

I have a 2010 Toyota corolla with 1,900 miles on it, I purchased the veh in the middle of november. After purchasing the vehicle I began to notice that my right arm would collect static electricity when I would place it on top of the center arm rest/console. At first I would only get the static spark when I touched the metal frame of my door, then when I entered the vehicle I would once again collect the static electricity on my right arm from the center arm rest/console. I began to just not pay attention to the static build up I would get until yesterday december 29, 2010. I excited my vehicle and proceeded to open my gas compartment door, as I touched the compartment door, I received the static spark. Now I am becoming concern because it happen when I touched the compartment door had it

When applying the brakes, my car will rev up. Especially when I'm going down hill. Another concern is that my car will make a 2-3 second rattling noise upon starting up. It only makes this noise once in a while and it is coming from the engine. Another issue I'm having is the car's check engine light, track light and vsc off light coming on simultaneously on any rainy day and staying on for several days after it has stopped raining. I avoid driving at fast speeds when its rainy because obviously the car is very unstable. My driver side window wont open or close and very cold days and other days it makes a weird noise. I just bought this car used and it has about 79k miles on it.

My son received his car today that was shipped to him from maui to portsmouth,va. As he was driving back to base his passenger side mirror fell off. The inside was melted. I have pictures of the mirror. This is a fire hazard. I contacted Toyota via email about the incident. This car was purchased new and has only had routine maintenance. There is either a faulty connection or faulty part that caused this. I now worry that the car may catch fire. *tr

I was starting to back out of a diagonal parking space and suddenly the car rapidly accelerated and backed across two lanes of downtown business traffic colliding with a vehicle parked diagonally across the street. When my vehicle started accelerating I stomped on my brake but the car did not stop until it hit the other vehicle. I believe this is an incident of "unintended low-speed surging" as reported on the internet and under NHTSA action number dp14003. *js

I am the owner of a 2010 Toyota corolla, whose VIN number is: [xxx]. That car had a low mileage when I brought to germain Toyota in naples, florida, to fix any problem at that time that had caused the "engine light" to appear on the dash. I was told that the "gas cap" was the problem and that I needed to replace it; I followed their recommendation. But, one day after the same light appeared again. Disappear; therefore, I decided not to come back for that same thing. Recently, in several occasions the car suddenly stopped working while I was driving it both in local and highway 75 without any warning or sign that such thing was going to happen: ?the gas pedal just goes to zero, that means the pressure went quickly and suddenly to no pressure, and three lights are shown on the dash.? Since a recall correction for the smart stop technology, the car will act like it wants to die when stopped and will hesitate before accelerating from a stop. It acts like it wants to quit running if idling to warm up and gas mileage is worse than before. *tr
