Takata airbags. I have been waiting over 6 momths for word on when my airbags will be repaired. I have had to make numerous cross state trips with my kids in this possible death trap. I called today and was told there was no announced date for repair as of yet. This is beyond a reasonable amount of time for repairs and want a solution asap as I have to drive my car and transport passengers.

Takata recall airbag recall issued may 23, 2016 which is 6 months ago. When is my car going to be fixed? What can I do to get my car fixed? How long am supposed to wait? If no fix in sight can I return car to Toyota for a refund?
"takata recall" I received a recall notice back in june 9, 2016 and to date have had no further updates or information that this will be fixed. The only thing indicated was do not have a passenger sit in the front seat. This is almost next to impossible as I have to take my mother to places as well as other family members. This is unacceptable and I want this potential death hazard repaired.

"takata recall" in june 2016 we received in the mail a notice of recall for the front passenger airbag inflator that is produced by takata. We have contacted our local Toyota dealer to have the part replaced, and we continue to wait 4 months later for parts that are not yet available. This is a family vehicle that needs to be used on a daily basis in the state of florida. This is a major safety concern for myself and my family. Toyota telling us "we are waiting for the parts" and you will be notified via mail when they do, to schedule an appointment is not fixing the problem. They do not even have an estimated time frame.
Takata recall this has been going on for years. My son is driving this car now. This specific recall was announced in may 2016, but Toyota has failed to make a remedy available. This means my son, and his passengers, are at risk of a deadly airbag explosion and Toyota must be made to actually implement the recall remedy immediately. We can't afford to park the vehicle until Toyota gets around to it, or turn it into a one-person vehicle, when we paid for a 4-person vehicle.
"takata recall" I received the recall notice in the mail which states the propellant in these faulty airbag inflators may degrade after prolonged exposure to high humidity and fluctuating high temperatures. If airbags do deploy it can result in injury of vehicle occupants or death. Recommendations are not to operate the vehicle with an occupant in the front passenger seat, until airbags are replaced. We live in cathedral city, california, we have high heat with severe summer temps, humidity, and fluctuating temperatures. We are a family of four and often have a fifth passenger. I called Toyota of the desert in cathedral city and spoke with janie. Janie stated the airbag parts were not in and didn't know when they would be in. She instructed me to call back in two weeks. I

My Scion XB has a set of dealer installed TRD springs front and rear. The springs in the rear have rusted to the point where I question their resistance to breaking and thus the safety of the car when turning a corner. The springs came from the factory with a coating that has quickly worn off an exposed the bare, untreated metal to excessive rust and corrosion. If one of these springs breaks while driving, then the car could be difficult to control and result in a wreck.
body 1 complaint shown
I have a rs 7.0 which has the body kit. Very often, when I turn, especially if there is a passenger or extra weight in the car, it sounds as though the front wheels are scraping against the body of the car. Of course, the dealer can't hear the sound at all. But that is what I expected. I just hope that when the tire blows because of wear, I don't get killed. The car is almost three months old and this has been happening since I bought it. *tr
