Was on freeway about 55 to 65 MPH and all of a sudden the truck went into what I would call a death wobble where it seemed to be shaking the truck to death. Once I pulled to the side of the road and stopped and started out again it was fine. 2 days later it did it again only this time I was just getting onto the freeway on the on ramp. It did it again. Did not seem to hit any bump or pothole just started shaking. Had dealer check ity out the following week and they blamed it on the tires, and said it needed an alignment. *tr

Vehicle wobbles/vibrates "death wobble" at high speed or when hitting a bump on freeway, only way to stop the wobble is to reduce vehicle speed to under 30 MPH, vehicle only has 35k miles, I have heard of many complaints about this issue occurring around 30k miles on fords, Dodge (a class-action lawsuit was started in 2014) & Jeep (congress has already requested a recall). I am asking that this issue is looked into further before a serious injury. Thank you *tr

While usually traveling at highway speeds and hitting small bumps such as expansion joints on bridges the truck will shake violently. It has done this with varying degrees, and most recently has gotten worse. The most extreme and recent episode was having to slow down to about 10 MPH on the interstate before it stopped, and in process nearly being hit from behind by a tractor trailer. This has been called the "death wobble" in several online posts. *tr

I was driving the truck away from a traffic light. When the truck reached approximately 20 MPH. The engine shut down completely. I lost forward motion, steering control and braking power. I was able to wrestle the truck off the road and into a parking lot. This is a Ford truck powered by a 6.7 Ford diesel engine., the truck is generally used to tow a 13000 pound fifth wheel. If I had been towing the fifth wheel, the outcome would surely have been a disaster. Problem turned out to be a totally failed bosch cp4-2 high pressure fuel pump. The pump slowly fails. As the pump travels the path to total destruction, the operator has no warning that the engine will suddenly die. When the truck quits, the operator has lost power steering and power brakes on a 8,500 to 23,500 pound vehicle. *tr

Truck goes into a death wobble when driving 60mph or faster. Usually happens when you go over a bridge, cattle guard or bump in the road. Cause the cehicle to shake uncontrollably and you have to come to almost a complete stop. I have had Ford work on it and nothing has cured the problem. This issue is going to cause serious accidents if not taken seriously.

Driving on interstate highway at night. Noted vibration as when tires are not balanced. Exited interstate at first exit and checked all tires. Tire pressures good and equal. No knots or damage noted and all tires same temperature. Thought a balance weight had come off and tires needed to be rebalanced. Began driving on interstate with no change in vibration. About 15 minutes later there was an explosion and the truck violently veered to the right. Pulled back into my lane and then pulled over to right shoulder. Right front tire destroyed. Called aaa and highway patrol. Described incident to trooper and he looked at the tire and said the belts separated. Significant damage to vehicle - bent right front bumper forward, blew a 7 foot factory running board off of the vehicle and destroyed the

A fuel injector clamp broke leading to raw fuel pouring down the side of the motor as well as vaporized fuel spraying around the top of the motor. After ordering the replacement clamp I realized they have changed the design from a piece of cast metal to stamped steel ( much stronger). If the fuel ignited it could be catastrophic. Luckily the clamp broke in my drive way and not while towing a heavy load. This could lead to the vehicle shutting down or worse catching fire. Enclose find pictures of the broken clamp and the redesigned new clamp. There are 7 more clamps on this motor waiting to fail. This vehicle only has 57,000 miles on it and has never been abused.

In a daylight safety zone requiring headlights, I noticed my dash lights were not on, even though my light switch was in the manual on position. This occurred during daytime while traveling through dense groves of trees that allowed enough light to see the road, but produced enough shade to darken my instrument panel. On entering a tunnel, my headlights showed to be on, but the instrument panel lights were not on, causing the instrument panel to be totally blacked out, and creating a potential hazardous condition. This occurred for nearly a half minute until the daylight sensor determined it was dark long enough to activate the dash lights. I brought the problem to the attention of two Ford dealers, who were unable to duplicate the problem with the truck in their shop. The third dealer I

I was passing a transport truck and just as I got even with the door of the truck my Ford f350 super duty motor quit, just shut down. A bus was coming in my lane as I was passing, the truck slowed down to let me by but I had no power, no power brakes or power steering. The bus slowed down and I braked enough to get in back of the truck and over to the side of the road. The bus went on by and the truck continued on his way and I tried to start my truck. It fired up and we drove to a tractor supply and bought some diesel oil and when we checked the oil to see how much it was down we were surprised to find it was full. We drove 200 miles home and didn't have another problem. There were no codes on the computer screen in the truck. I haven't taken it to the dealer yet but will to see if their
