Takata recall. I received a letter on 5/2016 and still have no information on when this will be remedied. I am getting upset and worried.
I have been waiting way too long for my airbags to be replaced since receiving notification that there is a serious problem. This needs to be fixed now!!! I do not understand the delays. I feel afraid to drive my beautiful car for fear of bodily harm coming to me or my passengers. It started of with a recall letter for the drivers side airbag only then I received another letter telling me its the passenger side also. Please help me out here. Thank you for your time and attention to my request. *tr
The airbags were supposed to have been fixed per recall by carriage house Mercedes in new London ct. my son was in a horrible front in collision and they did not deploy. None of them did. Accident happened 3 days ago insurance will pick up car today. I’d like this noted incase they need evidence
As of december 21,2017 I am still trying to get my takata airbags replaced as a result of the recall. I keep getting legal notices to visit airbagrecall.com, register my car, and go to the local dealership, but Mercedes benz of baton rouge still cannot replace them. I do not know where else to go or what else to do. This has been going on for a year or more.

Takata recall for driver and passenger air bags since 2016. Although I have contacted my local mercedess dealership about five times on this issue, I am advised they are still unable to service either airbag. This is of primary concern to me as I am a single 48 year old female, who has an only child (son) who is 12 years of age. Aside from him losing his father in january 2017 - I also take care of my 78 year old mother. There are no other close relatives outside of us so I truly need to take every precaution at safety. Much more than just the usual so I am asking that this request be expedited if at all possible.
I've been trying to replace airbags that have been on recall for4 years but they always say there are unavailabe sine recal is so large?

I was teaching my 16 year old son how to drive when he got his learners permit . When we got onto the highway a car cut him off and he had to apply a firm steady brake . When breaking the car swerved from the rear into the other lane , nearly striking another vehicle . This also resulted in a loss of control when applying heavy breaking after I had him pull over and I took control of the vehicle once I was able to get the car to the shop I pulled the rear wheel s off and inspected the brakes , which were found to be in good condition . I looked around the vehicle and noticed where the rear driver side subframe connected to the control arm broke off from a manufacturer defective weld or poor selection of materials . component. Upon inspection both sides are perforated and have lost stru
The contact owns a 2011 Mercedes-Benz C300. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the rear driver’s and passenger’s side wheels swayed left to right, and the rear driver’s side wheel detached from the suspension. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop where it was diagnosed that the rear subframe was rusted and needed to be replaced. The dealer was notified of the failure and the contact was scheduled an appointment. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was awaiting an estimate. The contact was provided a case number. The failure mileage was 88,640.
Rear subframe failure of left lower control arm mount bracket at weld that rusts prematurely from improper treatment at time of manufacturing After failure while braking at low speed 10mph rear end of vehicle fish tails left and front end of vehicle moves right There are numerous reports around the world with this specific model and identical safety hazard on the left side of vehicle in almost all cases Mercedes Benz refuses to acknowledge a defect in craftsmanship of the specified part and in many cases offer a $1000 credit towards a new vehicle As 1 of millions of Americans that owns this vehicle in question I believe it is necessary that the NHTSA steps in to assist with this issue as millions of American lives are at risk even if they do not own or operate this vehicle

Car interior smells of fuel after filling up the tank. The smell is also noticeable when parked in the garage. My Mercedes e350 also had the same issue and it was determined that it was a defective fuel cell sending unit.

The esl steering lock malfunctioned. This causes the car not to start. I had the airbags replaced due to recall about 3 week sales earlier. The car was working properly the day before and the next morning the car won't start and a message comes up about removing the key.

The parking lights on both front head light assemblies have melted the plastic of the housing and had to be broken out which seems to indicate an excessive generation of heat and potential fire hazard when bulbs are replaced they keep burning out which is a potential safety hazard.. I have seen several other complaints regarding this same issue and as well an issue very similar to the tail light recall. I was wondering if this has been or will be addressed my the manufacturer

I have scented a strong, and worsening, odor of gasoline in vehicle for quite a while. I removed back seat and fuel tank access panels and inspected the fuel pumps. Drivers side had raw gasoline pooled on 2124703294 fuel filter assembly. I cleaned the fuel up and drove the car with 1/4 tank of fuel and checked and found fresh fuel leaking. I cleaned and looked closely and found the source of the leak (it was still oozing out after vehicle was parked for some time.) the little pipe that the fuel pressure sensor on non-amg vehicles plugs into has a hole in it. I have attached pictures of this safety hazard. *tr
