A clicking noise. Dealership said it is the timing chain. Nissan does not care that so many people are having a problem with the timing chain. I do not have 2,300.00 to fix it but if it does not get fixed then you need to replace the engine as a lot of other people had to do. *tr

In 2014 Nissan of north olmstead did a recall on our timing chain when they did the recall they did not replace the tensioners causing the chain to rub through the timing chain cover. There is also metal shards in our oil in the engine. The car would not start and was leaking oil very badly we took the car to conrad's in lakewood and that is what they told us and showed us with video. *ln *tr*jb consumer stated dealership refuse to fix.*jb
My wife has a Nissan juke 2011 which has a recall on it for turbo. She was driving suddenly lost power. We took it to the repair shop they told us its a turbo that went bad and there is a recall on it. We took the car to the dealer and they refused to work on it I told them there is a recall for Nissan juke 2011. The dealer told us yes but not our VIN number when he entered into the system. What concerns me is that she completely lost power while driving and yes thats a very serious concern. I would appreciate if you look into this and have dealer fix all Nissan 2011 juke. They dont mention what VIN # are having issue until you go to the dealer and find out you have to pay $4000.00 to fix. I just think its not right but I am thankful she was not hurt more and more complaints are coming in
I was traveling on the interstate and it started loosing power and smoking really bad so I pulled off the road and called a tow truck. Had it pulled to the shop. They said the turbo went out. Had it replaced. Drove it 2 weeks and it started doing the same thing. Set on the road for 3 hours. Had it towed again to the shop. He said the turbo went out again. Been there for 2weeks already. Lost my job because I couldn't get to work. Had no way so right now I'm without ride. Illy has around 65,000 on it

My 2011 Nissan juke has been sitting in austin tx. Waiting to be towed from clay cooley Nissan. The motor has been rendered unfixable due to sludge from the engine. The juke was recalled for a timing chain replacement on dec 16,2015 at mileage 96,133. In their report it states that due to the timing chain having been stretched and rubbed into the side of the engine and timing cover;aluminum shavings from the block soaked in oil from the leak the chain created, is the reason the engine was malfunctioning this time around. It was only "patched and not fixed" states the mechanic from ed hicks Nissan. I purchased the extended warranty for 100,000 miles and at 108,000 miles the engine blows and Nissan does not want to claim responsibility for the damage. I took care of my car since it is all I
Starting approximately 12/1/2014, we began to notice a strong smell of gasoline in the passenger compartment within minutes of starting the vehicle. The smell would diminish as the car warmed up, but would not go away completely. We contacted the local dealer service dept., and were told there was a recall on this issue. Upon taking the car in to be serviced, they confirmed the fuel leak was from the fuel rail pressure sensor, which is the precise problem which prompted the recall campaign. On further investigation, they determined the recall service (technical bulletin reference ntb12-021b) had already been performed on this VIN, and Nissan would not cover the repair at this point. Nissan's recall campaign id# is r1201, NHTSA#12v-069. It appears, at least in this case, the recall service
Smelling fuel in the cab while driving, noticed fuel leaking. Nissan service examined it and said it was the fuel pressure sensor. The same thing that was recalled before. Very serious issue in my opinion. Nissan service said it was no longer in warranty and no longer a recall. *tr

Problem with EVAP system. Many different codes are showing which means paying an extreme amount of money to diagnose problem and repair. Could be solenoid issue with the turbo part. CANNOT GET MY CAR SMOGGED because of this. The need service light does not go off. I am going to have to spend thousands at the dealer. This should be a recall issue.
Fuel pressue sensor failed after torqued down recall was completed by dealer. Bought my 2011 juke new from dealer. Car has been paid off since 2016. I never received any recall information regarding the fuel pressure sensor until 2018. I was not experiencing any problems with the vehicle. Apon recieving the recall notice in may 2018, I took my vehicle in to the Nissan dealership to address recall. I picked up my juke and brought it home. Since I have another vehicle, this one was not my daily driver. I went out once every few days to crank it up. I did notice that there was a fuel smell when I cranked the car. Thought maybe since they torqued the fuel pressure sensor for the recall, maybe somehow fuel had gotten in the engine compartment and would simply burn off. This continued eve
The turbo component went out and its unsafe to drive, I am one month outside of the recall for this problem my car is a 2011 with 57k miles on it and the average for la is 12-15k. I am trying to open a case with Nissan to see if they will cover it considering their own mechanics told me I couldn't have caused this and its a manufacture defect.

Front passenger air bag and status light indicator malfunction: my wife weights about 105 pounds, when she sits on the front passenger seat, the pass air bag off lights illuminates to indicate the front passenger air bag is off. The airbag should be on with her weight. It starts to happen intermittently since a year ago. *tr
The passenger airbag disabled light comes on occasionally even when my daughter is seated in the passenger seat. She is approximately 100 pounds. It seems that the light is on more than it is off, which is concerning because in event of an accident, it would mean that the passenger airbag does not deploy. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2011 Nissan juke. The contact stated the engine failed and the battery drained excessively. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the failure could not be diagnosed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 90,000. The windshield made a squeaking and rattling noise when driving and going over bumps. It was almost a constant sound. The engine would idle and sputter, when stopped at a red light. When the consumer accelerated from the light, the vehicle stalled. It was determined the timing chain snapped and caused damage to the crank sprocket and chain. The times chains, guides, timing chain tensioner and crank sprocket were all replaced. The vehicle started but mis-fired due to the valves being bent. The engine block was then repl
