Dash is cracking all over near airbag 3gcpcse02cg139623

The common dash cracks. One to the top left of the instrument panel and the other along the top of the airbag on the passenger side.

Dash cracked above the instrument panel and left corner of the passenger airbag. Vehicle was stationary and when I came out I noticed the crack in the dash.

Rear frame by the gas tank. The truck could break while hauling a load putting myself and any other motorists in danger. Widricks auto inspected the vehicle truck failed inspection due to multiple holes in the frame. No symptoms seemed present. I bought the vehicle on 3/10/20

Few cracks on dashboard worried about one crack above the passenger air back I did call gm nothting happen.

Dash cracked behind instrument panel at approximately 60,000 miles. Concerned about shrapnel should air bags deploy....this is a common problem from 2007-2013.

Tl* the contact owned a 2012 Chevrolet silverado. The contact stated that the vehicle caught on fire while parked. The fire was extinguished by a fire department. A police/fire report was filed and there were no injuries reported. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard and the cause of the fire was undetermined. The VIN was not available. The approximate failure mileage was 70,000.

Lights go dim on it all the time and the electric system in it is bad sometimes the air condition works most of the time it don't and the cruise quit working in it

My truck should have no issues as I follow the maintenance schedule and take good care of my vehicle but it has happened twice where I was in the middle of the interstate when my vehicle displayed the check engine light, traction off, stabiltrac off, the airvents stopped blowing cool air and released humidity, brakes were not functioning properly (hard to actually break), steering wheel/power steering was malfunctioning making it almost impossible to turn or get out of traffic and it seems the vehicle just decided to suddenly stall while in motion. I was very lucky due to sudden high risk of a vehicle crash and was able to pull over without getting anyone hurt. My air bad light is on and my horn does not work. I called gm customer service. They said there was no recalls on my truck. She then told me I had to take my truck in to see if it has a recall. I ask her which is it, is there a recall or not? She said no recall but I had to go into service to see if there is a recall. There either is it isn't. I feel gm is trying to cover thier butts. Seems to me that they know of a problem but don't want to go public with it. I'm a 100% disabled veteran. I purchased this vehicle brand new 5 years ago, I only have 55k miles on my truck. I can't afford to pay for a problem with my truck especially if gm knows about it but refuses to own up to thier mistake.

Takata Recall. The contact owns a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V054000 (Air Bags) however, the dealer informed the contact that the parts for the recall repair were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Engine using 1 to 2 quarts of oil each oil change (I do check level at time of each gas refueling) this problem was documented at the service department, tom tepe auto center, Chevrolet dealer in milan, indiana dennis murphy manager812-654-3001 milage in at the time was 13831, issue still exists!

I was driving on a curvy road running 45 miles an hour and suddenly my motor started knocking has 95,000 miles on it.

The dashboard cracked around the air bag on the passenger side and behind the steering while. I'm guessing it happened over night I dont know exactly. One morning I got in my truck noticed the crack around airbag and weeks later the one behind the steering wheel.

Dash is cracked in many places. Vehicle has 113k miles was bought that way in may of 17 with dash cracked at 104k miles

This involves an OEM tire on a 2012 Chevrolet pick up truck, silverado 1500. I'm a retired automotive engineer. Tire is made by general tire, size p245/75r/17, DOT p583 bn1. I am original owner and only driver. This tire has never run over anything but roadway surface. I was traveling on the freeway when the sidewall plies broke internally causing the tire to de-bead. I pulled over to inspect. Tire was smoking from the inside. It was fully ready to catch fire. Copious amounts of smoke. I poured my ice tea down the inside part of rim and backed truck up to slosh ice tea around inside of smoking tire. There are no cuts, stone bruises, or other outside influences. This tire broke its sidewall. You can both see and feel it. Tread and crown at same area are fine. Tire has 6/32" tr

Taka recall ignition is hard to turn and start

12/15/2020 - noticed 'service air bag' warning in morning as I pulled into parking for work. When leaving for lunch no warning on - as I pulled out of parking warning appeared again - as I leaned forward to read - loud 'bang' and was pulled back into seat by hard retraction of seatbelt. Followed by smell of burning. Parked car, struggled to get out of seatbelt - looked around for damage - nothing - only seatbelts stuck retracted. Drove home carefully - plugged in OBD 2 reader - four codes; b0015-04, b0022-00, b0052-04, b101d-00. First two indicate seat belt pretensioner deployed, third is deployment command, final is ECU hardware. Took to ASE shop and was informed that the control unit indicated a collision - there was no collision - and belts were deployed. Asked what caused this

While driving down interstate my transmission just went out down shifted almost causing someone to hit me from behind after some research I learned gmc vehicles have been having this problem for the last 10 years but yet keep using the same transmissions it's not right the money they selling these vehicles for and we the little people have to pay for them knowing the problem but not caring just one man's opinion guess that how the rich get richer

The frame has rusted out and is unsafe to drive. Left tire is almost snapped and you can put your hand through the rust in frame. Has been inspected by 2 mechanics. I am the second owner and have babied this truck since the first day I got it in 2014. Additional defect is the tailgate wont state shut, must close 3-4 times for it to remain closed.
