My vehicle began having this issue in 2015. My vehicle has a long crank and sometimes does not turn over. It will also turn over, then sputter out after running for 20-30 seconds. In 2015, I began to have the issue with the vehicle not turning on/not turning over. I had the vehicle towed dealer and the tipm module was replaced. The vehicle intermittently had the issue turning over, but when I took it to the dealership, I was told that the issue could not be replicated. In 2016, my vehicle shut off on me while I was driving on the freeway. The hazard lights would not work, the vehicle would not turn on, and the gears would not change to facilitate a tow. Upon opening the hood of the vehicle, it appeared as though there was a malfunction with the alternator and fuses (of which I have video)

Engine has cutout (turns off) while driving on 4 occasions. On all four occasions it has occurred while I was exiting a road/ramp. When vehicle cuts out power steering also does not work. In all occasions I have been able to pull off the road or stop before the road ends. The vehicle then starts right back up and functions properly. No check engine lights have come on.

Second incident happened yesterday. Vehicle did restart after a few attempts. Vehicle recall r09 was allegedly addressed by route 46 Dodge in nj in 2015.

At about 54k/56k miles the airbag and check engine light began to go on and off. When I got it checked they did not report anything outside of air is system but that was covered in the diagnostic. Then the car would make sudden jumps for no reason, airbag and engine and brakelights repeadedly came on and off. While attending my nephew funeral I got it checked since I would be on the road for no less than 4 hrs. I later found out there was a break recall once I got that fixed (16 dec) the dash was flashing everything airbags, brakes, engine. Once I parked the car the nest day it would not come on. A jump did not work. Had it towed and told it was the fuel pump system for a car just a little over two years old and that Chrysler was only paying for 2011 durangos for this issue. So I am payin

Trying to start vehicle and will not start, when I turn the key it will want to start and get stuck in a starting position, but not start. I had taken it in to a dealership and they said they fixed it, but as soon as the next day, it did it again. They wanted me to take it in again and leave it there for another week, I don't know about other people, but I do not have an extra vehicle around to use to get to work. Chrysler/Dodge dealerships should have loaner vehicles or some kind of deal at a rental company for their customers. Putting us out of a vehicle is just not right! I called again to the dealership and notified them that I will drop off my vehicle today and they said they would not be able to get to my Dodge until sometime next year in the second week. Not cool!!! He said

No incident occurred. I have been waiting for eddy's Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in wichita, ks to replace a brake booster since july. I was placed on a list. I called them again in october and they said they were still waiting on parts. I am concerned about my family's safety. The weather is now cold and that is when this defect has caused accidents. What should I do? *tr

Received recall p14 / NHTSA 14v-154. Took vehicle in and was advised needed to order part. Part has not arrived and dealer does not have an expected delivery date. They only can advise to continue to call. And Chrysler continues to send me the notice (3rd notice) telling me that I should go to to the dealer for repair. *tr

As I was turning left into a community the steering wheel locked up while the vehicle was still in drive. I immediately put the emergency lights on. I put my foot on the brake for safety while the vehicle was still in drive. I lifted my foot from the brake and the car remained still. I pressed the gas pedal and the car remained still. I then placed my foot on the brake again and it was stiff. When I pressed the gas the vehicle wouldn't move while still in drive. I placed my foot back on the brake and put the vehicle in park. I pressed the engine button and the vehicle engine came on. I turned the emergency lights off, put the vehicle in drive and continued my destination. I have a video, but it exceeds the upload size for this site.

My 2012 Dodge durango has lost steering power 4 times since I purchased it new. The first 3 times the repair was performed under warranty by larry h miller Dodge, 4220 e 22nd street, tucson, az. 85711, (520) 745-1000. In these cases, the dealer claimed a hose had come off and they connected it back on. Documentation on these repairs available is upon request. The issue was reported to Chrysler-Dodge consumer affairs dept. And was assigned case no. 24966049. My vehicle lost steering power for the fourth time on december 21, 2015. It left a huge puddle of fluid on the pavement and the power steering container is empty. Every time this has happened, we have been lucky to avoid an accident. However, we have become afraid of driving the vehicle. The car is now permanently parked with no

I've had at least two things the Chrysler service department has not assured me I needed. A front end alignment done in nj and a "bypass" fuel pump addition done at lustine?? I feel like car had a heart attack because of a computer sensor issue. Now they say its shaking and I need spark plugs and the dash is lit up but after the additional $3310..they are still not sure what's wrong with it or why it smells of gas except gas is on the spark plugs and shouldn't be and new ones will 'possibly' get me closer to finding out the issue(s) on my 2012 durango. $325 nj $476? Lustine bypass $310 lustine sparkplugs not paid for yet total $1111 but we still not sure what's wrong.... This is criminal. *js

Drove the vehicle into the dealer for an oil change and was told the external fuel pump relay harness needed to be replaced. When asked what would happen if it wasn't replaced they told me the car would not start. I find this very odd that I was able to drive the vehicle in. Then doing an investigation found that this same module was a recalled item in the 2011 version of my vehicle. Would like to find out if this recall needs to be expanded to include the 2012 year model durango. *tr

I currently purchased a 2012 Dodge durango with the v-6 engine. I noticed a similar issue when starting out, at about 22 MPH to 27mph it feels like there is a power drop-off if accelerating normal. If you accelerate faster the drop-off is not present but a speeding ticket maybe coming. Current mileage 36,275. *tr
