While moving with transmission in drive, the ignition switch can be switched off. By doing so, the power steering and brakes fail to function properly. The steering wheel will lock, not allowing to steer. There have been a safety concerns with other gm products, why not this model? This is a safety concern.

The dash board is crack I replaced 2 times and the replacements also cracks the parts is $1200 plus $1200 labor.
Dash is cracking around my passenger airbag. The crack is in front of the passenger airbag closer to the windshield. Vehicle only has 32,000 miles but is just out of the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty.
The dashboard in our vehicle is cracking and getting worse in two locations on the dash. On the passenger side and also on the drivers side. Beginning to go into the airbag area
This morning when I got in my truck, I noticed the dashboard by the passenger side airbag had cracked overnight. The weather hasn't been too hot or cold. Days in lower 90s and lows in upper 70s. I have read this is a common issue and I am afraid an airbag deployment will launch plastic pieces through the cabin.

I have goodyear wrangler sr-a 265 60r20 tires on my sierra denali hd 2500. I was on the way back from nc via I-95 and pulled over so my wife could nurse our 3 week old. Me and the boys went in k-mart for a few minutes. Upon returning and getting back on the road, I noticed my car was pulling bad right and the steering wheel was shaking very badly. I managed to drive it the additional 30 miles back home. When I started the truck the next morning, the steering wheel shake was too bad to continue anywhere but the dealership. I drove to the dealership and they said that the tires would be covered under my existing "bumper to bumper" warranty as the dealership noticed that there was a huge bulge in the tire which was causing all of the commotion. Upon further inspection, it was noted tha
Loss of steering control (three episodes) : 13 nov 2012, while exiting nb I-95 onto eb route 214 in landover, md, my steering wheel locked. My speed at the time was approximately 50 MPH. I was able to brake rapidly as the ramp began to straighten from it's sweeping right curve. The locked steering was forcing me onto the right shoulder. Luckily I was able to stop my truck on the right shoulder before the locked steering forced me off the hard top. During this event, the trucks engine remained running and the ignition key stayed turned on. Once I was safely stopped on the ramp's shoulder, I made attempts to turn the steering wheel. With both of my hands on the wheel and while exerting a lot of upper body strength, I was able to brake the steering wheel free. Yes, I drove the car home f
2012 GMC denali. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle steering problems. *smd the consumer noticed a very bad problem with the steering whenever he slowed down to turn, he would loose control over the ability to turn. The wheel locked down when he applied the brake and tried to turn at the same time. He was not able to turn until he pressed on the accelerator or released the brake. The dealer said it was caused by the power booster taking all the power to the brakes and leaving very little to the steering. Also, there was a problem with the back-up screen. The picture was extremely dark, and it was hard to make out the images on the screen. The dealer tried to lighten the screen, but to no avail.

Frame coating is peeling off the back of the frame and in other areas. Excessive rust for a vehicle that is 3 years old in a temperate climate. Only appears to be affecting frame covered with waxy undercoat. Very little rust and no peeling on areas that have other paints/coatings.

Engine will increase idle from 700 to 900 at any time. One can be sitting at a traffic light and it might increase or decrease. I pull a 5th wheel (35 feet) and it is very difficult to stop with the engine trying to keep going. Also it is very scary to stop on slippery roads. This did not start until the vehicle had approx. 35,000 miles on it. The dealer tells me it is normal, but I have talked to owners of the gm diesel from model year 2008 through 2015 and none of them have this condition. *tr

I purchased a 2012 GMC sierra denali from stahl motors in monterey, ca in february of 2015. They are not willing to pay for the damages to my truck even though they sold me a completely dangerous vehicle, which I will explain. My truck didn't feel right as I was driving so I decided to take it to a shop to get looked at. There is a long list of things that is wrong with the vehicle, but I will mention just the main ones. The truck was sold to me without the rear brakes hooked up. The brake lines for the rear calipers were capped off by the rear differential. When the mechanic shop discovered that, they also discovered the master cylinder was completely dry, which caused damage to my front brakes. There was no cross member underneath the vehicle from frame to frame. It was torched out,

Purchase a new 2012 GMC sierra sle on 07/26/12. As I leave for work in the early hours, it requires that I use the defog/defrost. On the morning of the 28th I selected the defog/defrost and only the driver's side cleared. Thinking it may be isolated, I received the same result on the 29th. I called the selling dealer about another matter and mentioned this problem. On august 9th the truck was taken for service and to address this issue. Was told that it is operating as normal and the dealer tested two other new trucks. Still not happy with the answer, I called GMC. They setup service at another dealership for the 16th. Again, no problems could be found per their testing, but were going to change the duct as the air flow was much greater to the driver's side. When the duct came in, they opt
